Saguaro

Species Description: A wild-by-nature hybrid species that was created through a strange evolutionary strain of cactus on a distant planet in an unknown galaxy. Said strain of cactus "reproduced" by injecting it's DNA into other organism's cells through it's spines. The cells in the host organism would then be hijacked and transformed into a cactus. The Cacticus Wyvernus, however, managed to resist the complete transformation, but not without being completely encased in a thick layer of fully functional cactus hide. As a result, the species can breathe both aerobically and use photosynthesis in order to gain energy. In fact, the two systems work together beautifully, as the waste gasses can be used again and again in each of the processes.
The Cacticus Wyvernus have long, thick arms, with club shaped, finger-like ends. Their claws measure up to a 20" in length. Their legs are trunk-like and highly strong and durable, resulting in surprisingly high mobility and speed. The wings span up to twenty feet, and the skin that composes the wings has thousands of spines on them. Their jaws are extremely powerful, but they still retain their original teeth, which measure 8 inches in length and are razor sharp. Their tails contain a very large spearhead-like shape at the end, which can be used to impale large prey or even flatten smaller prey.
The Cacticus Wyvernus have a profound sense of temperature sensitivity, if something is even a degree above preference, active measures will be taken to cool the creature down. Sight is average, hearing is just below excellent; their range of hearing far exceeds that of humans, and even the slightest disturbances can be magnified by the spines on the hide near the ears, resulting them in being heard everywhere. If things get too loud, the Cacticus Wyvernus can retract their spines to reduce or nullify magnification. However, it's sense of feeling has been drastically reduced, which is a double edged sword. Less pain comes to the creature, but soft ground or traps cannot be detected.

Abilities:
Flight Needle Barrage- The creature shoots some or all of it's spines at high velocities, which can be regrown during battle. Water Excretion- The creature uses part of it's water reserves to cool itself down, or to douse fires. Ferocious Roar- Can paralyze an opponent in fear momentarily if they lack confidence or are surprised by the roar.

Sirocco

Overview: A rather odd case for a Wind Guardian, this human was born and lived in the natural Earth world. He took a special liking to the properties of wind, and studied it extensively and feverishly, learning much more than any other meteorologist before him. He also took up fighting, and created his own style, which was influenced by any fights that he watched. Upon dying, he was given the chance to fight in a tournament which granted fighters temporary control over an element. Sirocco entered, and won the grand prize, which was permanent control over said element, which happened to be wind.
Sirocco then took to training and mastering his newly acquired elemental control, which proved to be extremely extensive and barely limited. He combined his knowledge of wind with his fighting experience and became a Guardian of the Wind after saving a fellow Guardian from assassination. This granted him immortality in the afterlife so long as he performed his duty as a guardian.

Abilities:
Airblade- A displacement of air that causes said displacement to be able to deal physical damage. The front area of the displacement is extremely sharp, and can rip through flesh, bones, and many other softer materials. Its direction can be controlled with relative ease, but the displacement will fade away after a short period of time, so this technique usually only gets in one or two, maybe three passings by the opponent before disappearing.
Wind Whisp- Sirocco can subconsciously spread the air particles around him slightly, granting him a sharp increase in speed and agility. It activates after a small amount of damage has been taken from fighting, and ends after a significant amount of damage has been taken, and subconscious focus cannot be maintained any longer.
Rocket Boost- When stopping, taking off, accelerating, or suddenly changing direction, Sirocco shoots a gust of wind in the opposite direction of which he is moving from his feet. He also gains a boost of speed and momentum, which can be used to dodge high velocity beams or projectiles, or can add force behind a head on attack.
Sky Bomb- A sphere of wind energy that is gathered, and then fired from point blank range to deliver massive concussive damage. It is designed to be fired from inches away from it's target, and will not reach the opponent if fired from anywhere farther from six inches away. (Not actually a bomb, but a powerful concussive blast of compressed wind energy.)
Northern Style: Whirlwind- A whirlwind that is designed to catch projectiles and fling them around at random. Cannot redirect any projectiles that are faster than 100 miles per hour.
Air Spear- The user creates a very sharp and long area of displaced air, and shoots it at the opponent at an incredible speed. It is powerful and can pierce most physical objects that aren't made of pure steel, but is low in area, so it is easy to avoid. This technique cannot be controlled nearly as easily as Airblade can, and disperses when it hits an object.
Typhoon Fist- Wind energy is charged in and around the user's fist, and is then displaced to create a needle sharp strike that disrupts light armor and other hard materials and splits them directly in half. It is only able to split armor if the attack is a direct hit in the dead center of the object.
Gale Force Pulse- A ring of wind energy which is concentrated and charged, then displaced, and fired at speeds that exceed 120 miles per hour. After being fired with a loud bang, the ring of energy flies silently, and is tough to see due it being clear. However, if one's eyesight is acute, they can see the area of displaced air and still avoid the attack in time. The technique is not very powerful, and disperses after a decent range.
Equipment:
Equip: Third Arm Wind- This weapon is simply a band that is worn on Sirocco's head. It grants him a fifth limb, one that can take shape by using Sirocco's wind manipulation. It is especially useful in melee combat. It can physically hit opponents, as can any other displaced wind technique. It cannot fire gales of wind, however. This equipment reduces the energy needed to create said limb by a great amount, but does not completely eliminate the need for conscious control, so it cannot be used for long periods of time.
