Chicken in Wine Sauce

Chicken Breasts in Wine Sauce by Lynn Gray

8 chicken breasts
4 tbs. butter
1/4 c. white wine
seasonings to taste
3 c. white sauce (or 2 cups sauce, one can mushroom soup)
1 c. sliced button mushrooms
1/2 c. slivered toasted almonds

Sauté breasts in butter to a light brown. Arrange in glass baking dish or casserole. Add wine and seasonings to white sauce. Add mushrooms and pour over chicken. Bake at 350F for one hour. Sprinkle almonds on top 10 minutes before removing pan from oven. Serve over rice.
