Welcome to Graciously Yours! As you see, this site is an Edwardian Era English Boarding School. With this said, here are a few rules and regulations that I would like for members to abide by! 1. IC =/= OOC. 2. Seriously, DIVERSITY PLEASE. We aren't all blonde, white, skinny or beautiful. It's already enough that the great majority is rich. As this is based on the Edwardian Era, however, there will be some feelings of hostility towards those of different racial groups, but even so, this is not a segregated school. Still, a post that consists of nothing more than "nigger/spic/kike/chink/etc.)" will NOT fly. We are not a medium for you to voice your own beliefs in regards to controversial topics. Keep in mind that people were much more concerned about being proper, and racial slur namecalling was not considered seemly for young ladies. 3. As an addendum to 2, you should probably keep in mind that not everyone is an ice queen or a stuck-up, princessy, catty bitch. I will regulate personality types if I see too many of the same person. 4. When registering, register with the character's FIRST AND LAST NAME. 5. As of now, you can only control 4 maximum characters. 6. No one liners, and really watch how you post. Follow the rules of grammar and adhere to proper spelling. PLEASE. 7. OOC Racism, disrespect, all that crap? It goes without saying that you'll be banned for it. 8. Character names should fit the era. This means that names like Jayden, Kaylee, AuBree, etc. will not fly. If you need help, you can use the Social Security Administration names guide. Names like Emma, Edith, Wilhelmina, Audrey, etc., are much more fitting to an era such as this. 9. PLEASE DO NOT RIP OFF CHARACTERS FROM OTHER FANDOM. What I mean by this is that I do not want to see a "Rose Dewitt Bukater" with a face claim of a younger Kate Winslet. 10. NO MARCHIONESSES OR ANYTHING OVER THAT. The average Marchioness would not dare allow their child among the masses, even in spite of the fact that they're largely among the wealthy. These kids were taught by PRIVATE tutors.
