I have a psp and two of the best games i have are syphone filter and monster hunter freedome unite and i really recommend these to any new psp user

Disgaea is also a good one. Disgaea 2 is better for gameplay and extra options, while Disgaea 1 is better for story. Also, Disgaea 1's Majins (the ultimate unit in both games) look cooler and are considerably better.

PSP games are generally geared more towards gamers, while DS games are more geared towards pick-up-and-play people. It's a pity, really, because the DS has so much potential, and is wasted on games like "Dolphinz", where you can raise your own dolphin. -_-
