Emma's house is like nothing you'd expect, let's take a look shall we? Posted Image
Emma's home is on the Register of Historic Places, it was left to her by her Great Aunt Mildred who brought it for a mere $20,000 and refurbished it to it's past splendor. Who better to leave a house such as this to than to her niece who had a thing for cleanliness and germs. She knew that the place would be in good hands. Emma was thrilled that the place wasn't being used as a museum or anything, she would hate all those strangers walking through her home and touching her things. Ewww! Okay I need a handi wipe! Okay as I was saying, Emma needed to be careful with the property given the historical value to the place. She liked it best because it was so remote, less chance of catching germs that way. Also, her closest neighbors were Amish and they were 3 miles away so the neighborhood was really, really quiet.
Her furniture was modest, nothing too flashy, nothing too bold it went with the home and had a "cozy" feeling to it. Believe it or not, it wasn't all wrapped in plastic. Emma was normally the only one at her home so she didn't feel a need to have it all wrapped up. There was, however a huge welcome mat for cleaning shoes on before entering the house, and once inside there was another mat in the entrance way for any stray dirt that might have clung to shoes post the welcome mat.
