[Solved]blending renders?

how do you blend renders in to the background? I have gimp and I tried feathering it but you lose quite a lot of the image and it doesn't look good.

when we say blend the render with the background we mean to blend it with the colors so it fits and doesnt stand out too much
like mine for example v

gradient maps and smudging are probably the best way

It really depends on what you are smudging. I have smudging problems so I can't help you, but lots of tutorials tell you to do different things.

yeah, also turn on jitter, play with the rate and other options. also download some smudge brushes from deviant art
