Hi all,
For about a week ago GGoodie showed a forum concept he made, so i thought i'd try once too. I'm still working on it, i think it looks pretty good so far, but i don't know if/what i should add more. So Cnc please and if you have any ideas of what i can add, please post.

Please notice this is the first time i've made something like this, so i have no idea if this image would fit a real forum. It was just fun to design.

So here it is:

I have a template, would you like me to message you it? You have to add an html/css/or javascipt to center it manually ;)

that'd be awesome. But i have no understanding of coding whatsoever so what exactly do you mean with the"You have to add an html/css/or javascipt to center it manually ;)" part?

You do realize you can modify almost everything about proboards with JS right? I've had a lot of practice at it. (It really helps with your DOM :3)

The gradient on the main body would work out so well, and its really saturated for a border, it would steal the focus. The hole-y pattern is a bit overused, and the really big ones kind of look bad =/. A few dropshadows her and there could really help add depth to this.

eh, probably i don't. i'm sorry, but i'm really a noob at this kind of stuff. so what exactly is JS and DOM?

no, that was at wrylor cause he said it wasn't scaled right.

Javascript is coding and DOM is when you use JS and HTML together (like having a button change a pre-existing element)
When he said it was scaled wrong, it cant really be scaled wrong, because you can change almost anything about proboards.

But, even with Javascript, as one image, it would still look a bit distorted? I've coded both with Java, and on a proboard multiple times, and usually make multiple image... But can a single image be sized to fit without any distortions?

You don't use one image /).o
The whole thing doesn't scale the sections, you make parts of them repeat over and over as a bg and have the rest be stationary, giving it the look of it being resized.

In theory you would have to lock the aspect ratio, but there are those with monitors in either 16:9 or 4:3, so regardless your image would be cropped on some monitors.

I like men.

If height isn't an issue the aspect ratio isn't relevant at all.
Code:

<img src="image.png" alt="Alt Text" style="width: 100%; height: auto;" />

But that leads to a whole new myriad of problems, for example quality raping and loading times.

niiiice!

i like the colors. and that poka-dot sheet-metal is a nice touch. i like those bottom corners too. and the nav bar's pretty sleek.

I really rather like the shiny corner bits, but the colours don't seem quite right, and the gradients are a bit too harsh.
Docui.
