Yeah, i realized it kinda stole the focal, so instead of dimming it and stuff, i just blurred it a bit.

The text is hard to read, but I like the font. The white blur seems to be more of the focal point because the guy blends and blurs a bit to well on the other side. overall 7/10

You really like that Samus render, don't you? :P
I do agree, it is somewhat over blurred, and its coloring is all over the place. If you want to keep the blur effect, make sure it doesn't color the focal, which currently, it does.
Why does everyone look for a sig on the left?

Yeah, the render i had was kind of crappy, and the edges of the head and shoulders were really pixely, so I tried to smudge her in a bit. And yes, every single one of my signatures has been a samus render xP

Generally, the text should never be placed in a corner. Yes, the green blast steals the focal, thats what happened to me with the same render:
