Hey, I noticed something with GIMPs windows, when I installed GIMP on my brothers computer the other day and loaded it up, he seemed to have a GIMP window with layers brushes and all the tools combined, but the first time I loaded GIMP up I only had a Tool Box window, took me a month to find the layers window, but like I said, my brother has a Tool box with a layer window built in, if anyone knows how to open that window up please tell me so I don't need to manage 3 windows (tool box, layers and image) when I want to make a custom sig for my friends. |

Gimp let's you drag palettes around onto each other. Try grabbing part of the layers window and dragging it just under the toolbox window. If you did it right, it should show up. After that, you can add others by clicking the windows menubar option and selecting one then dragging it too. |

Thank you! I was almost ready to try and get a pirated photoshop because I kept losing my boxes... stupid layer box always got stuck under something and my tool box would sit there uselessly with no layers
