 1) Insults and racism OOC (Out Of Character) will get you banned/suspended from the game, however a level will be allowed IC (In Character) as the world isn’t perfect.

2) Do not use the Personal Messaging system to send insulting messages.
If someone is abusing the system and sending you nasty personal messages please report them to a Moderator or Administrator so that they can be dealt with.

3) No OOC clutter within IC topics. The post has to be directly relevant to the thread (i.e. asking someone to confirm something or accompanying an IC post).

4) All players must remain active. If you do not log on for more than 3 weeks without posting in the holiday thread your account will be deleted. If you feel you cannot RP your nation for whatever reason a Proxy RPer is allowed.

5) Technological advancement will be fully RPed and given suitable time and funding. On starting a new research project you have to put the in game date that you started the project in the first post.

6) Nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons are allowed - but the World Council must approve it first.

7) No Godmodding.

8) Unrealistic actions can be overturned by the World Council. If you disagree with us then make a thread in the Forum Court and state why you think we are wrong, but any insults thrown count as a breach of rule 1.

9) Do not let OOC feelings influence IC actions.

10) Negotiations over PMs, in secret forums (including the NATO forum) or in real life are allowed (and even encouraged in some circumstances) but the finished deal must be posted in the forum.

11) New players may not start a war within the first 2 weeks of arriving on the forum unless voted in the World's Council. This includes violent riots, rebellion and civil war. (Unless one of these is already going on in the country before the new player joins).

12) For the sake of clarity and neatness, everyone must use the flag from the link provided at the top of the forum. These are very good, professional flags and are probably better than any other you'll find anywhere else.

13) Military and technological donations/training are restricted to those who can provide a good reason for the donation. Any international intervention in wars must be backed up with a good reason why you are getting involved. A good reason will be decided on a case by case basis by the World Council.

14) All votes and polls will last 72 hours after initial posting (unless specified otherwise by the poll starter) any vote cast after this time will not be recognised.

15) One player cannot play multiple sides in any war, civil war, or other violent action.

16) If the game needs the input of an NPC (Non-Player-Controlled) nation, you may temporarily play as said NPC. However, you may not play both sides of a negotiation, and you may not use NPCs to gain an advantage to you either IC or OOC.

17) All referendums are decided by the world council.

18) Have fun with this RP or you’ll be pelted with rotten fruit. Do not take anything IC personally, as it removes the purpose of the game which is having fun.

 The rules have been edited by the admins in order to make them shorter and clearer (some bits of the old rules actually didn't make sense any more). They say pretty much the same thing that they did before, so carry on playing as normal.
