OOC: Right basically due to the scale of this conflict dont expect my normal long winded passages although a few might prop up. It will be just basic facts you need to know followed by results and territorial change and of course casualties. IC: An Iranian Task Force has been sent towards Bahrain to seek out the remains of the US Fifth Fleet. This includes a number of Kilo Class Submarines. Meanwhile the Fifth Fleet has begun to move towards the Straits in an attempt to link up with the Taskforce. A Kilo Sub found the US Fleet and followed them before being detected by one of the Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers. Following a confrontation a Ticonderoga Class Cruiser has been sunk as well as an Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer being heavily damaged. Its crew have been taken prisoner and the Arleigh Burke has been towed back to Iran. The crew however destroyed enoug of what was already not damaged beyond repair so most US Tech is safe including the Air Defence System. Result: One Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer able to fight its way out and reach Saudi Taskforce. One heavily damaged Arleigh Burke captured. Official declaration of war by Islamic Republic of Iran on United States. Casualties USA 1 Ticonderoga Class Cruiser 1 Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer (Captured) 453 KIA 180 POWs Iran 1 Kilo Class Submarine 1 Moudge Class Frigate All Hands Lost |

The United States of America Declares a Formal State of War with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The losses of the USS Shiloh and USS Laasen will not be forgotten, and will be avenged. And we will make it clear to the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Prisoners of War - treat them against the Geneva Convention, and you WILL live to regret it. The USS Nimitz and its battle group have been ordered to join the forces in the Arabian Sea, and USS John F. Kennedy and USS Iowa have been ordered reactivated for that very same reason. The Republic of China does not have formal diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and as such, cannot officially declare war. However, the President has authorized all ROCN members of Task Force 9 to use any and all force necessary to accomplish their mission of reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The incident is being referred to in internal Taiwanese circles as a "police action." |

IC as Peru: Peru makes a formal declaration of war and sends the organized battle group headed by the flagship BAP Admiralte Grau to assist the United States as previously planned. The task force consisting of two frigates, two corvettes and the cruiser will rendezvous with the USS John F. Kennedy to provide naval assistance with following the sinking of the Shiloh and Laasen. Landing transports are being prepared in the event the United States requests land forces to be put in place. Though those are being put on hold since as of this moment Peru can only sufficiently and readily provide naval assistance. IC as Germany: Germany warns and requests all Germany citizens and any of the like to evacuate Iran immediately. Germany will not declare any hostilities; however, will position a small naval group consisting of the S 80 Hyäne Fast Attack Craft, Augsburg Frigate, Erfurt Corvette, and Type 206 Submarine U27 within the Arabian sea in the event Germany votes to declare war. Germany also plans to first bring this before the European Union to see what the course of action of the EU will be before committing to any conflict. |

SSIC: The Ukrainian Airmobile Forces are being put on alert, and mobilized. They are currently awaiting orders at their bases, ready to act if they are called upon for this situation. @ Israel (also SSIC) - We would like to ask if our Airmobile Forces can use Israel as a staging point for possible attacks on Iran. |

Although Uruguay condemns Iran's actions, it has not declared war. All (If there are any) Uruguayan citizens in Iran have been told to leave immediately by heading to the Uruguayan embassy in Tehran. All Iranian citizens and officials will then be taken to the nearest safe country. |

IC as Germany: Germany is taking no further action against Iran. The response of the international community has been great enough that they feel they can easily stay away from this war while their European friends assist the Americans. They will; however, keep the small naval task force in the Arabian sea in place in the even the votes in the Reichstag determine that they will indeed go to war. IC as Peru: The Peruvian navy, upon receiving information that Indian Navy will be moving to support the United States, their task force is moving towards the location of the British Fleet to provide additional support. Peru awaits word from the United States and/or Great Britain as to what additional support may be needed for this war. |

IC as Peru: Peru wanting to join the United States as soon as possible in operations on the ground has stepped up participation. With pending approval of the United States, Peru wishes to ready a landing force along side any troops the United States are preparing. With US escort, Peru will mobilize 2nd Naval Infantry Battalion and the 4th Naval Infantry Battalion to make amphibious landings in Iran. They are to be followed by 2 Battalions of Special Forces and 2 Battalions of Army Infantry if it is deemed that presence in Iran needs to be stepped up or if it is requested by the United States. The forces account for approximately 6000 troops and the armored needed to support and transport them. IC as Germany: The small naval task force remains in place. Germany intends to keep communication open with the British Task force in the area. In the event the joint Peruvian-British task for needs assistance, the task force is to mobilize and defend them from any hostiles and perform rescue operations with them. OOC: As I couldn't find a way to write this that didn't sound like a summary I'll just go with a summary. IC: The Iranian missile attacks on military bases in Afghanistan have resulted in mixed success, while several missiles were intercepted by Patriot's or FIRESTRIKE depending on the missiles size many got through. Primitive guidance systems also meant several missiles missed, one hitting the city of Kabul rather than the nearby US base. Casualties: America: 56 KIA 17 Permenant disability 254 wounded Damage to several bases in Afghanistan Afghanistani civilians: 14 killed 45 wounded Iran: 1 wounded (stood to close to missile launch and suffered hearing loss) |
