AlexianCale2

Persuaded by a real life friend to play RuneScape in fall 2003, Alexian entered the game as Treck40; more concerned with the social and community aspects of the game—ever since he was introduced to the clan concept—than sheer grinding and training, Alexian had soon established what would become the GSA with a nucleus of like-minded friends. Over the span of a few months, the GSA had become an innovative and active clan and a force to be reckoned with, particularly in worlds 3 and 19. With a firm leadership style that earned him the respect of those dozens of levels higher than him, Alexian led the GSA to prominence for approximately a year before interclan betrayals and mutinies prompted him to shut the GSA down and venture to the official RuneScape forums. There, Treck40 became Alexian_Cale and established a series of successful, well-known clans and clan unions, becoming one of the forums' most prominent and influential members. After three years spent politicking and leading, Alexian largely abandoned RuneScape—though he would return briefly to lead an elite clan known as Shattered Souls and helped establish a union in 2007-08 called the Champion Alliance. In 2010, during his freshman year of college, Alexian would gather a group of friends and ex-clanmates to reform the GSA in late May.

Dragon_Bard

One of RuneScape's first generation players, Dragon Bard was the friend who convinced Alexian to play RuneScape and functioned as his guide to the gaming world. It was Bard who introduced the concept of a clan to his friends and co-created the GSA and served as a primary recruiter. Throughout the course of the GSA's existence, Alexian and Dragon Bard would occasionally exchange positions in the leadership—one leading while the other needed a break or succumbed to the demands of school—in a highly profitable partnership. Eventually, after the GSA suffered two devastating betrayals by two prominent members, Bard helped shut the GSA down as Alexian journeyed to the official RuneScape forums. Preferring diplomacy and solitude to politics, Bard kept a low-profile on the forums and did most of his work in-game—occasionally taking part in an occasional clan or project and often in an advisory capacity. After rejoining Alexian with the short-lived Shattered Souls project in 2007, Bard returned to retirement before committing himself to the revival of the GSA in May 2010.

Chickstroyer

A close friend of both Dragon Bard and Alexian, Chickstroyer was one of the GSA's first primary members and leaders—serving in an auxillary leadership capacity as Alexian and Bard constructed the GSA. Known for his outspoken disposition, Chickstroyer made an enemy of ex-GSA member Horatio Caine and his clan, the Emerald Knights. Chickstroyer often served wherever the GSA leadership needed him and helped train some of its finest recruits before a devastating PK trip resulted in his death at the hands of then-GSA agent Noodlelord; Chickstroyer lost many of his precious items and, outraged at such a betrayal, resolved to never set foot in the wilderness again with another GSA member. Chickstroyer faded into obscurity when the GSA shut down until a project called LOTNOR—aimed at harassing certain prominent RuneScape players and ex-GSA members—prompted him to participate on the official RuneScape forums. After joining and co-leading few clans, Chickstroyer made a name for himself in forum politics as a prominent "politician" and union leader, most notably the Commonwealth of Clans in 2006, which boasted over a thousand members. After this, Chickstroyer's forum career ended abruptly and he opted for retirement, before returning with the GSA revival project in May 2010.

Gcnman18

A long-standing player and one of the earliest prominent posters on the official RuneScape forums, Gcnman18 was the leader of a small clan known as the Shadow Fury in 2004. The arrival of Alexian prompted the establishment of a friendship and alliance between the two, and Gcnman would join Alexian in all of his forum endeavors, becoming a trusted advisor, confidant, and right-hand-man; his reputation as a skilled spymaster and analyst prevented many of Alexian's enemies from sabotaging these projects while simultaneously frustrating the clans of their opponents and earned him a place on LOTNOR's watchlist. Gcnman18 was a prominent player in the dissolution of the Imperial Alliance and a 'civil war' of sorts in the clan section of the forums. After these events, and a stint in Shattered Souls, Gcnman largely retired from RuneScape—returning only to draft a thread called the Legends of the RSB that served as an information guide to the influential members of the past. His participation was essential in reviving the GSA in May 2010.

Mystic_Manor

The last major leader and member of the old GSA, Mystic_Manor joined the game a few months after Alexian and Chickstroyer. A close friend of the leadership, Manor had a keen mind and particular insight into the trading system, which benefitted the GSA's members and allowed for a smooth commerce system. Joining several of Alexian's projects, Manor's presence was most notable in the Exchange—a clan that, long before the Great Exchange, saw one of the first demonstrations of a clan bank system in which members could buy and withdraw from, and sell and contribute to a clan-run bank; this system was highly acclaimed by the Exchange members. After Alexian's retirement, Manor continued to apply his talents in-game, training hard and earning a reputation as the go-to man for RuneScape commerce. His was the last major ex-GSA presence recruited for the rebirth of the project in May 2010.
