These are some of the pots on the covered porch. I've always planted them with impatiens, but this year I'm trying perennials.

This one is to the right of the bench. Perennials (left to right): Spidewort, Solomon's Seal, Jacob's Ladder, Coral Bell, and Creeping Jenny trailing over the side.

This is the matching pot on the left of the bench. The tall pot has Japanese Painted Fern, Spiderwort, Solomon's Seal, and Creeping Jenny. The small round pots are impatiens and Coral Bells.

This is 2 pots of coleus and impatiens on the steps.

There's a couple more pots that I didn't get shots of. This is the east facing end of the house. The pots of coleus and impatiens on the steps are loving this exposure. The pots under the roof get a fair bit of morning sun as well.
