For those who eat fresh pineapple. This make a nice looking plant. I cut the top off of a pineapple and root it. This goes on my patio table in summer and of course in house in winter. I re pot mine in the spring to a larger pot. |

Cool! I've never tried to grow anything like that. Does it live for a long time? |

How would you root it? It sounds interesting and if I could get someone to eat pineapple I would grow the top. |

Mine was easy. Just cut the top off a little more than you would any other time. Take the top and place it in a flower pot with potting soil and of course add a little bunny power around on top. I set mine outside on table. Water when needed. Where I sat mine it had morning sun. |
