Training as Mario
Okay, so a few weeks ago, this kid at school insulted my super powered Gardevoir and now I'm rasing a team of perfectly trained (EV) pokémon that I can crush his team when I challenge him. I know I'm going to use Gardevoir, my new Lugia, and a Sceptile but I can't figure out which pokémon I should use. This is in Ruby/Saphire/ Emerald btw. I also need a moveset for Sceptile. I'm making it as a normal attack sweeper with full speed and attack. Thanks in advance!

O, lets see...

Key: E=Emerald; MT=Move Tutor; BF=Battle Frontier

Sceptile
@: Shell Bell (if you're going to do high dmg, u can recover a lot with this)
Adamant (+AT, -SAA) or Jolly (+SPD -SAA)
Body Slam (E MT BF)
EQ (TM 26)
Swords Dance (E MT BF)
Screech (to help with high defense opponenets) (Lvl 23)

I'll assume since you only requested a MS for sceptile, you don't want MSs for the rest.

For the other 3, maybe Manectric, Armaldo, and Milotic?

ok first of all if your gona use this competitively Lugia is a uber if its just in-game or with friends then thats fine.

ok your gona have to post other pokemon that you want to have in your team as well other wise theres no pointin suggesting movesets for a team.

He only requested a moveset for sceptile mate. His only other request was for 3 suggestions of other team members.

Okay, I'll work on that team for Sceptile. I'm rasing him in speed really fast. I've got to GBA's so I can just mix records over and over and raise him fairly fast. I'm not sure on Screech right yet but I'll keep it on until I find something I want. Thanks for the help so far!

Well, I mean it in case a fully DF EV steelix or other Foretress or other massive physical wall gets to you, you can use it. The only thing I see being a problem is the Gastly family, so if you plan on SDing your way to 6 (takes 3 SDs to max attack at 6 boosts), try Iron Tail or maybe even Aerial Ace instead of Screech since EQ won't hit cause of levitate and BS won't hit cause normal is no good against ghost.

Yeah, I was thinking about using Arial Ace jus tbecause it's a strong move that hits all the time (other than moves like Fly and Dive). And Shur'tugal, dragon and grass type moves are Special Attacks on the R/S/E/FR/LG so I can't use them.

Only physical move there is EQ for the games he specified.

I can't say I like the sub-seeder either. For one, Pursuit would be a bad choice, since most trainers can deal with a small loss in hp, cause likely they are beating you senseless while you are using it.

AA is 60 base (all the sure hit ones are except Aura Sphere, which is 90, but that is outside your version specifications), so it can do well. It would just suck to have to rely on it competatively.
