Jawa's Metroid Prime Hunters Review

Gameplay: 8/12
Graphics: 7/8
Sound: 7/7
Value X8/10
Originality/Tilt: 4/5
Replay/Continuous Play-ability: 6/8
OVERALL:80/100
Metroid Prime Hunters is what i think the only good FPS on the DS so far. It has a unique contols that are hailed by some and hated by others. I personly like the controls. You move the stylus around to look around, use the control pad to move, and shoot with R. Everyting else is done buy touching buttons on the touch screen. The learning curb has no definate time. it really depends on how well you adapt to the controls. Like, for me, it was like the first 5 min and i had it. However, for some of my freinds they still didnt have it at the end of the first level(complaining it was"to sensitive" and "moved to fast") The gameplay, for singleplayer, is disapointing for a metroid prime game. There are four planets, and you visit each twice, so that makes 8 levels. In each one you must locate 3 artifacts to activate a boss portal and then escape at the end under a time limit(for no aparent reason) Multiplayer, however, makes up for it. It features Wi-Fi, which rules, and you can play as any one of 7 hunters each with unique wepons and alt forms(yay for sniper rifle!) The matches are always fun and never get repetitive becasue of all the possibilies. In the end, the game is slightly diapointing, but holds its own among others with its godly multiplayer. If your stylus hand isnt to spazzy(like my freinds), then you should pick this one up. WOW, you read this long review congrats if your reading this.

Shadow's Review for Super Smash Bros. Melee

SSBM has always been a kind of legacy for me, so I'll break it down;

The difficulty is probably medium at best, so it is only somewhat difficult. Learning the controls is very easy, with practice modes included. How long it takes usually depends what you want to do, like get a new character, course, etc.

The Description: The sequal to the greatest 4player smackdown the GC has ever seen! The game has more characters than ever, and as they say, the more the marrier!

Gameplay: 12/12
Graphics: 7/8
Sound: 7/7
Value: 8/10
Originality: 4/5
Replay: 8/8

Total: 46/50

Accumulated total: 92/100

Final comments: The sound change for some course was remarkable,
but I thought the game needed more characters

Fireball Macnamera's Review of Red Steel

Gameplay: 10/12
Redsteel has many different locations throughout the game that are all unique. This makes each area have unique shootouts.

Graphics: 7/8
Your enimies look as though they could be actors. However, the lack of blood did make it seem unrealaistic. I'm not saying I need gushing gore and guts. But a person getting slashed by a sword with no blood?

Value: 7/10
The shooting gameplay in Red steel will have you entertained through most of the game. The sword fighting quickly gets old and tiresome.

Sound: 7/7
At certain points in a level you may overhear someone talking or fight someone who is swearing at you in japaneese. The game also has a catchy tune.

Originality: 3/5 There are plenty of games where the plot is to save your girlfriend. And thier have been plenty of games with Yakuza apperances.

Replay: 7/8 Some parts of the game have to be replayed, you can't help yourself. Howvever, some levels are just too long for your desire to replay it.

Score: 41/50

OVERALL SCORE: 82/100

Final notes: Your girlfreind is cpatured. Her father is dead. Now you must pick up your Wii remote and shoot your way to victory. Redsteel gives players a feel that thier in a PG-13 movie. However, the story feels bland. How many times have we seen a girlfeind get captuered and the boyfreind has to rise up and save her? The game does give some good twists though to make the story interesting. The swordfighting part of the game seems a bit forced. When an enemy with a sword appraoches, you are force to take out your sword instead of simply shooting. (Not very realistic) You must swing your remote to attack with your sword, these motions tend to seem incomplete. You also must know when to block and doge sword attacks, which can get confusing. You also can learn new moves with the sword but only two of the five sword techniques are easy and convienent to do. The one thing that makes reedsteel shine is it's explosions. Shooting a car or throwing a gernade can cause explosions that send your enimies flying and it is extremly fun to do. One last thing up your sleave is you ability to slow time. This ability makes this game have a Sci-fi effect. It dosent seem to fit in with the rest of you abilities. Despite these things, Redsteel offers fun gameplay that will be great japaneese gangster brawl. As for Mutliplayer.....well, it needs work

My Crappy Review of Wii Sports

Gameplay: 9/12
Graphics: 5/8
Sound: 4/7
Value 8/10
Originality/Tilt: 4/5
Replay/Continuous Play-ability: 7/8

Overal Score: 74

Difficulty: Easy
Learning Curb: About 10-20 minutes

Wii Sports is a free game developed by Nintendo and included in the purchase of a Nintendo Wii. Wii Sports is seemingly designed to only showcase the Wii's motion sensing abilities, yet is still a good addition to any Wii library. Wii sports uses the incredibly un-detailed mii's as the games characters, but does a fair job in presenting the various places at which the sports take place at, from the baseball diamond, to the bowling alley. The sounds in the game are very basic, sounds like a baseball bat smacking into the ball along with that of the announcer are for the most part the only sounds in the game. Despite it's lackluster sound quality Wii Sports still provides a fun and entertaining experience to the Wii that the entire family can enjoy in the forms of Tennis, Baseball, Boxing, Bowling, and Golf. The controls are simple, for the most part just swing the controller around (which takes time to perfect but the basics of it can be picked-up on right away by just about anyone) with the requirement of hitting a few buttons from time to time, but for the most part the game is based off of the Wii's motion sensitivity. The game has been simplified further by taking out elements of some of the games, such as eliminating the fielding aspect in baseball. Despite it's simple presentation Wii Sports gives you a fun, enjoyable game that can be enjoyed with solo play and made just the more fun and challenging with the addition of a few friends or relatives in multilayer, (amount of people that can play varies from sport to sport, anywhere from 1-4) the fact that almost anyone can jump-in on and play in a matter of minutes and have fun reflects the success of Nintendo's fundemental principle of the Wii (Making gaming easier, so that more people can play and enjoy video games) very well.

HUNTER JAWA's Review of Trauma Center: Second Oppinion

Gameplay: 11/12
Graphics: 8/8
Sound: 7/7
Value 8/10
Originality/Tilt: 4/5
Replay/Continuous Play-ability: 8/8

OVERALL:92 outta teh 100

A life is on the line! Vitals are dropping! What do you do? Grab the wiimote, of course! Trauma Center Second Opinion is a surgery sim that even my Uncle who used to be a surgon said "was a little like real surgery". In the game, you use each of the tools, selected with ease thanks to the analog stick, to perform differant surgeries and save the patients. Simple, right? Wrong! There is alot of deph to this game, Instead of just pulling glass from peoples arms and removing tumors, you'll be battaling physco terrorist created lethal diseases, perfomring heart surgery, and develpoping cures to new diseases. The learning curb is a little steep. While the first few operations a easy and layed out step by step, soon you will be on your own, and you may not have developed your skills enough.(thats what happend to me) But with a little practice and a lot of patience you'll get the hang of it. The story can be classafied as a medical drama(with anime looking charecters) and i gueuss is a little like Gray's anatomy with more surgery and less ....well for those with fragile minds, i wont say it. The replay value is exelent, letting you just chose an operation and dive right in. Overall, this is a great quality game you should not overlook because it is unusual. "Lets begin the operation"!

My Crappy Review of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

Gameplay: 8/12
Graphics: 7/8
Sound: 5.5/7
Value 7/10
Originality/Tilt: 4/5
Replay/Continuous Play-ability: 5/8

Overall Score: 73

Difficulty: Medium
Learning Curb: About 30 minutes

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz provides a fair playing experience. The sounds are rather simplistic with nothing special about them. The visuals are actually fairly decent, everything is in fairly detailed 3-D with good color. The minigame control schemes aren't very well thought out and the instructions before the game can be unclear and non specific, leaving the task of really finding out what you need to do and exactly how to do that to you. Some minigames can prove challenging. The minigames become old after only a short while, due to lack of variety and any single minigame on it's own is only somewhat entertaining. However the minigames are fairly original. At present the game really isn't worth the $50, it's recommended that you wait to see how good Mario Party 8 turns out to be or wait until the price on this games sinks to around $20.

Commrade Putin's Review of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Is there any other model of perfection of a adventure game out there (besides OoT maybe)??? I think not. The game combines a great story, with great gameplay, with hours of fun, with everything else on the platter. Also the sheer size of the map to roam too excluding dungeons. On foot it would probably take about an hour to travel from ordon, to kakarito, to the moutains, to the desert, to the lake, and back again. I don't even want to try that. With out further ado, here is my score:

Gameplay: 12/12
Huge map, tons of baddies, frekin awesome exploading arrows, talk about a fun time

Graphics: 8/8
This game truly shows the wii gots good guts

Sound: 7/7
Koji Kondo = my hero

Value 10/10
40-80 hours of gameplay without getting boring? chickawa my friend

Originality/Tilt: 4/5
Still follows the set zelda routine (3 dungeons, then huge quest) and other things, but still creates a new story line that doesn't directly involve gannon for the millionth time

Replay/Continuous Play-ability: 8/8
IF you get past, may I suggest the 3 heart quest that I"m currently attempting?

Overall Score: 98

Commrade Putin's Review of Excite Truck

So I think this is the best racing game so far on the wii, it has fast and exciting gameplay, good visuals, and friends can get the hang of it fast. The one problem is that when you start to drift away, you tend to over correct a lot of the time which can totally screw you up. But that's really the only flaw I could find with it.

Score:

Gameplay: 9.5/12
Obviously not quite as good as burnout, but tranforms wreakage into air which is almost as fun

Graphics: 7/8
Pretty good graphics all around

Sound: 7/7
custom soundtrack, can it get any better?

Value 8/10
Good for pick up and plays when you're bored and for long hours at a time. Fun multiplayer mayhem as well

Originality/Tilt: 3/5
Kind of a spin off of burnout, but still has some new factors. Not anything revolutionary but still fresh

Replay/Continuous Play-ability: 7/8
Lots of maps, lots of air = lots of fun for a long long time my friend

Overal Score: 83

Is this post just a move over of the old reviews? Or can we add new reviews to it?
