What are some of the good/bad books you've had to read in/for school?

Good:
The Giver
I Am The Cheese (It was pretty decent)
The Outsiders

Bad:
Bridge to Terribithia
The Hobbit
Romeo and Juliet

There were plenty others i don't remember or were just meh.

Right now I am reading Macbeth, and I find that to be enjoyable.

We are too, and it's really not that bad. WAY better than Romeo and Julliet.

Dude the Giver was weird. Not to mention the ending basically just cuts it off leaving nothing to be finished.
Romeo and Juliet was terribly boring.

Good:
•Tribes
•Outsiders
Bad:
•Cairo Jim in search of the tomb of Marten Arten
•Some world war one book I can't remember the name of.

This year we have to read Of Mice And Men.
$12 on the booklist.
I picked it up in a second hand bookshop for a buck.

Wow, Forgot Mice and Men, That was the worst book that I think I've ever read.

I'm surprised you guys are reading some of the same stuff as us.

There are two sequals to the Giver, the first one is Gathering Blue and the second one is The Messenger.

Neither are as good as the giver, and jonas isnt the main character of either. But, he does have a cameo role in the third book...

Wow, never knew that. Do they take place before or after The Giver?
