That way, everyone's happy. That, or a way to make more I think that's stupid. So instead of a few people getting them no one gets them for a long time, sure that'll make everyone ecstatics. Lol, yea. I can see it now: "Gimme the wii! I want to play the Wii!" and the crowd destroys nintendo factory

Its kind of Nintendo's marketing strategy to keep the Wii hot. They could mass produce them but they don't want the demand of their console to go down. This also prevents them from having to lower the price anytime soon
