OK, here's how it works. Each person starts with 10 points for the rest of the play offs. It costs 1 point to pick a team and 1 point to bet on the spread. If you get the team right you'll earn chips (observe table 1). If you bet on the spread and get it right you get double what you placed on it. If you get it right within 3 points you get one more than you bet. So we'll see who does best.

Table 1
---------------------------
Points placed 1; points received back 2
Points placed 2; points received back 3
Points placed 3; points received back 4
Points placed 4; points received back 6
Points placed 5; points received back 7
*Max of 5 points bet on winning team

So the teams will be the sure thing, while the spread will be the risk where you can win a LOT. There's no max bet for the spread.

More Rules:

You can only bet on the current round, so no super bowl bets.

Match-ups:

San Diego at New England

NY Giants at Green Bay

Weighting:
If you bet on Green Bay or New England you'll receive 1 less point than you would have on Team points and on Spread points. Likewise if you bet on Sand Diego or New York than you'll get 1 more point in Team points and spread points. THIS IS ONLY IN EFFECT FOR THIS ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS. THIS WILL CHANGE FOR THE SUPERBOWL.

Sorry if this turns out crappy, because Idk how well it's balanced.

Idk... an award? I don't think it's confusing =/ I think now it's too late for this round we'll just have to do it for the superbowl... if anyone wants to participate. Besides this will be a good chance to test the balance of this system to see if it'll be of use for other things later.

Lol, maybe next year, when there is time, and you can plan ahead, instead of like, "Hey, lets do this..." You know the rest
