Just a fun little thread to make: what are you listening to?

Stein um Stein (Live)- Rammstein

EDIT: "What are you listening to?" refers to the specific moment in time of the post. So for instance if I was listening to Stein um Stein now i'd post that but if I went to post again 40 minutes from now and was listening to Stairway to Heaven I would post that.

Yeah, I mean like At this moment in time, what are you listening to.

Sorry, I suppose having a friend who leaves his air conditioner on in the winter is hard on you.

Yeah, were talking about voice chat here... before anyone gets the wrong idea...

Okay, well right now I've got some Zeppelin, Queen, and Rush mixture goin' on. That's usually what I listen to, but I like the occasional Rammstein.

I tried to rammstein, but not knowing what they are saying is a bit annoying.

Yea, that can be sometimes annoying, but I just focus on the musical parts, like the g-tar, and rythems. Spell check needed!

Their a band that grows on you. I started off kinda liking one song and here I am 70+ songs later.

You can just look up the translations if you want. It might take a while to get used to the German, especially if your not used to listening to other languages. I would recommend you try starting with the song Amerika, from the Reise, Reise album as the main point of the song is illustrated through English.

I can understand the growing on you part, at first I couldn't stand slipknot/metal music, now I love it. :]

You won't even realize it. You'll hear a song not like it, listen to the band some more, go back and listen to the song again and... what do you know... you like it. Reise, Reise is my favorite album and it's a nice one to start with. Rosenrot is lighter, Sehnsucht and Herzeleid are more industrial and more "raw."
