~~Gaming Corner T.O.S.~~ Gaming Corner Terms of Service 1. Membership Rules & Restrictions 1.1 Members are allowed to create only one account. If any duplicate accounts are created, all such duplicate accounts will be banned and warning/s will be issued to the original account. Warnings/ notes issued to the duplicate account/s will be transferred to the original account. 1.2 If you have forgotten your password, please email one of the admins. Please do not create a duplicate account. 1.3 If you are a banned and wish to return to the forum, please email me at GoldenGamer164@hotmail.com Please do not create a duplicate account. If you do both accounts will be banned and the ban will last longer. 1.4 If a member has violated the rules of the forum and have been issued with warnings, he/ she can request the administration to look into the possibility of reducing the warning. The administration does not automatically remove all warnings. You must Pm us to get it removed. if it has been there for long enough -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Things To Keep In Mind When Posting Members are not allowed to make posts containing; 2.1 Any material, which is knowingly false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening and evasive of privacy or otherwise violating any law. 2.2 Discrimination based on race/ sex/ religion and of sexual orientation. 2.3 Personal abuse, personal attacks and the like. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Other Things To Be Taken Into Consideration When Posting Members are not allowed to do the following; 3.1 Hijacking other member's threads to your own advantage. 3.2 Attempting to beat the words in the censor by using spaces/ symbols. 3.3 Do not advertise your site here. 3.4 Attempting to make money exchanges anywhere in the forum. This includes money exchanges via private messages (PM's) and using the signature area. 3.5 Asking/ begging for money in any part of the forum including posts in threads, PM's, signature are, any part of your profile. 3.6 Creating multiple threads regarding the same issue/ program within a short period of time. 3.7 Selling/ promoting pirated scripts, homework helper...etc... 3.8 Promoting programs/ forums etc that have been censored by the forum. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Spam 4.1 There should not be any promotion or referral links in the message body 4.2 Members are allowed to post a URL in the message body, but the member cannot be in any way affiliated with the destination site 4.3 Members are not allowed to post a note referring the signature if there are any referral links and asking others to refer to link/s in the signature. 4.4. Members are not allowed to refer to other threads which are advertising in nature or request to PM/email for more information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Signature & Avatar Rules When adding a signature, please make a note of the following; 5.1 You are allowed a maximum of 200 pixels by 300 pixels with images. this could be 1 pic or multiple as long as they do not exceed the 200 by 300 limit. 5.2 Size tags to increase font size is not allowed. 5.3 You are not allowed to promote any sites with 0-iframes on the main page and sites that are actively recruiting members to use malicious code on pages with the intention to cheat and/or steal. ~~THINGS YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW~~ Posting - Terms of Service and Terms of Use: We like to keep our host happy so their rules will be enforced in this forum. They can be found on InvisionFree.com under Terms of Service and Terms of Use. - No hotlinking: Do not hotlink images unless they are your own and upload on a photo sharing site. - Give credit: When posting an article please either put quote tags around it or post it in a different font. Please cite the source (Preferably a link). - No bumping old topics: Please do not bump old topics. Bumping is when you post in a topic and the last poster posted ages ago. You may post a new topic. - No flaming: You don't have to agree with, but you must respect all others opinions. Arguments and disagreements are fine as long as it doesn't turn into nothing but insults against the other person. This includes replies where nothing is posted except an insult or something else derogatory. ie only replying "You're stupid" etc. - Respect fellow members: Unjustified personal attacks are not permitted. - Please try and post all topics in the correct forum. - Remember that this forum has members of all ages. - Pinned topics: Be sure to read any pinned topics with extra rules for the forum that they're in. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Profiles - Avatars: The maximum size for an avatar is 125x125. If your avatar contains anything inappropriate, it will be removed. - Signatures: The maximum height for your signature is 150 pixels. Please don't make your signature too big. It will either be resized or removed. If your signature contains anything inappropriate, it will be removed. - Personal Profile: Please don't have anything inappropriate in your personal profile. - Name colour change: You can request a name colour change here. But in order to do so you need 100 total posts and your warn level must be zero (0). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advertising - No PMing other members: You may not PM other members to advertise your board or site. There is ZERO TOLERANCE for this. It will to lead to a direct ban from the forum. - If you receive any advertisement PMs, please report them to one of the admins by sending a PM. Include the PM(s) you received. - No bumping: You may only bump up your topic when there have been major updates. - You are allowed to put a small link to your site in your signature.
