Super Mario Galaxy 2

ESRB Rating: E for Everyone
Description: A 3D platformer starring Nintendo’s number one character, Mario. This is the sequel to IGN’s 2007 Game of the Year winner, Super Mario Galaxy. In this game, players control Mario from galaxy to galaxy as he continues his journey to save Peach from the evil turtle king Bowser.

I, personally, have only played Super Mario Galaxy (the first one) for 5 minutes, and that too in co-op mode, with me as Player 2, a mere Star Bit collecting cursor who was dying to do more than point. I now own Super Mario Galaxy 2, and what a fantastic game it is, and even from the sideline standpoint! My sister and I played some co-op, and she turned out to be a fantastic and much needed aid! She could do more than just point, she could click on 1up’s, coins, and Star Bits that fell right on my head for the taking. I didn’t have to cross platforms to get to those coins for my health, I didn’t have to walljump three stories for the 1up, I didn’t have to walk behind the Goomba to hit him, she froze him for me, etc., etc. I asked her if she enjoyed being a sidekick, even an invisible one, and she replied by telling me that if she was having so much fun being a simple cursor, it must be a heck of a fun time to be Mario! Basically, expect to want your friends to help out when you are playing through the story.
Speaking of playing as Mario, this is the most fun I have ever had on any gaming device. The game is so simple, yet so satisfying when you earn that star at the end, that you want to play more and more. The gravity changes all of a sudden, you drill through a planet to get to the other side, you shoot spiny turtles from Yoshi’s mouth (yeah, he’s rideable this time), you fight planet sized bosses, and the rest I don’t want to spoil for you. All of these cool things are of no use if you have sloppy, unresponsive controls that don’t work when you have giant debris flying at you when you are in your Bee suit, out of flying power. No worries here, it’s all tight controls, and the learning curve is next to flat: within five minutes you’ll know how to do anything from destroying enemies, to walljumping like an expert.
When you start a mission, you may get confused at some point on what to do, but then, all of a sudden after some time, it hits you, and you can’t help but feeling like, “How the heck did I not get that?” It never becomes an overhaul that you are stuck on forever, as if you die enough times, a bluish Rosalina (character from first Mario Galaxy) appears and asks if you want assistance for the level—in other words, let her beat it for you. If you say yes, then she’ll beat it, and then when you get the star, it’s not the usual Gold, but a dull bronze to show everyone how you took the easy way. This game seems to be fun for everyone, from the casual gamer, who simply wants to enjoy the puzzles and insane creativity that the game has to offer, but also the hardcore gamer who just has to get all 120 Gold Stars. Mind you, they can be a bit of a hassle, but as I said, so expect to be so stuck that there is no way out. You will advance, but not the way you should be proud of.

Closing Comments:
This game is the greatest I have ever played, and it all goes to Nintendo for making such an amazing masterpiece for all gamers alike. From the amazing level variety, to the bright, vivid, pop-out, unreal, astonishing visuals, to the satisfying feeling of success, this game has it all. I have not played the first Mario Galaxy, but the story starts all over anyways, so it doesn’t make a difference. Make sure you have this in your collection, and if you don’t have this game, or a Wii, go out and buy both. You won’t regret it.

And yes, you may be thinking that I'm an overexcited biased Nintendo fanboy, considering my rating....but look around the web, and see what professional critics have given it, and if that doesn't work, play the game, and then you'll see what I was talking about.

That was a very well-written review. I was on the fence about getting the game, but now I want it.
Yes, this site is legit. I have already received three rewards. All rewards come from Amazon, so you can get whatever you want!

Seeing this, if mines ever gets submitted, I'm gonna add more detail on mine. Mines kinda do, but doesn't compare to this.

I told you already....What Skwid Thinks, not just Skwid...also the description shouldn't say What Skwid Thinks description: , it should just say the description without introduction. (remove the What Skwid Thinks description: part of it,.)

The theme is great!

Posted ImageYo. If you really want that bit added to the logo, you can add it urself. I think it's fine. Its simple and fits teh theme.

And the "what skwid thinks description:" was from when I was copy and pasting it from you. GJ Catching it.

That logo you made ( here ) can be added to the top of the topic, like I did with this post.
