So the time had come after all. The wildlings were past the wall, and it was again his time to act. THe people of Queens were loyal, however even after five years of peace, none wished to come here and settle, fearing Dendric Stark as a crazed man. Hidden still in his keep, he kept Herzik and his giants. Now once more, they would be unleashed, as they had finished the secret tunnel to the coast, allowing wildlings to slip through and travel under the ground to arrive as reinforcments. With the Nights Watch in disarray, and wildlings attacking the Wall in the North, that could be an easy target.

Dendric smiled slightly, as he looked over at the map. To his knowladge, Lord Tyros was busy elsewhere as rebellions continued to uprise around the countryside. The various kingdoms were home to bandits and brigands, harrassing supplies and merchants, and setting fires to farmsteads. It would be hard pressed for Lord Tyros to send troops up here, and the others kingdoms seem to not care about the wall. He was the only one who sent supplies, the only one to ask for volunteers in his army. Now, though, there was nothing to keep the Brothers of the Watch supplied, as his alliance was now coming to fruition.

"Sir, Umber has returned from the North." Dendrics smile grew. "Bring him"

Umber stepped into the tent, in place of his missing hand now stood a iron guard, and attached to it was a small loop. The loop was so he could attach a chain and ball to it, and be armed with his dismembered hand. The years had taken a toll on him however, but his visage did not show those signs. "Dendric, my friend. Great news. The King North of the Wall has started his assault. There should be wildlings attacking the wall within the week, and the support you are given shall aid in all respects to take back your lands."

THe now older Stark nodded in agreeance, though his face showed a slight saddness. He had for all intent and purposes betrayed his people, even his family by keeping to this alliance. However, he cared not as his word was still intact, and with that, his face turned to the map, now focused only in the North. "Good my friend. There should be no trouble in routing the Nights Watch and taking the North, though the Wall will still be trouble no matter how you look at it. But the real question, my friend, is this.." Stark looked back over at the Greatjon. "Should I try diplomacy? Should I try to do what I had done on the onset of the last war? Ask people once more to join me, or risk destruction? Keep what little civility I have left, or abandon all I was taught, and join the Wildmen in full form, raiding the south and slaughtering whole citys?"

Lord Umber thought on this, knowing what good diplomacy had done the last time. His eyes focused on the floor as he rubbed his beard with his right hand. After a few moments, he looked back up. "Fighting with the Wildlings will turn you traitor. No one will look at you as a man of the south, the Nights Watch has already denounced you for your contact with the Wildlings, and your family in Winterfell cares not for your wellbeing any longer. No, there is nothing left here for you. Traitor, outcasted, and without a family, I will say, crush all who stand before you. If they do not surrender upon the sight of you, and chose to fight, then show no mercy. They will have one one choice to make. Join you before you arrive, or have their city razed to the ground."

Dendric had sent Herzik north to the East Tower. He was saddened by the news he had recieved that his uncle, the former lord of Winterfell, and the only real person he looked up to, had died during one of the raids. IF only his uncle had joined him. With that, he had no family left. Word had been recieved that another one of his cousins had killed himself when defending Winterfell. He had seen Winterfell a few years ago. It was nothing but rubble. HE sent what he could to try helping them rebuild, but with the abandonment of the Mormonts, the peoples hope plummeted faster then a rock in a lake.

Dendric looked over the map silently, his room dark when another entered into his presence. "My lord, more Wildlings have come from the tunnel, and are awaiting your command." "Have them go ahead and settle in. When Herzik returns, we shall make our move." "Yes sir.." They had left, and Dendric was again alone with his thoughts. He had sent Umber, and a select few men from Queens to Long Lake. That was the next target. It had to be.

Severl days had passed, and Herzik had returned, but not alone. With him were massive beasts from the north, ridden by elite Giants, weilding maces longer then a man. The heads of each were the size of a human skull, and the long poles allowed them to easily strike those on the ground from their mounts. Herzik also presented a gift to Dendric. "Well, you should know that Marlon Snow sends her best. It was with their help, and thier capture of Castle Black, that we were able to move these Lumbering beasts through the wall, and aided in their collection." Dendric smiled a bit, looking at them, before nodding. "More of your comrades joined me while you were away. That gives us a signifigent force to strike at Long Lake. I already send ahead men to go and cause a stir."

The attack on Long Lake, was nothing that Dendric had ever done before. Sure, he had used trickery and Stratagem to help swing things his way. However, this time, he managed very well to do what he failed to do in Winterfell five years earlier. The men and women of Long Lake did not wish to be ruled by some lord from Old Town. However, they had lost the fight, and were subjugated to accept. When LOrd Umber snuck into town, however, he gave the hope, courage, as well as weapons and a plan. Two nights before Dendrics army even arrived, the townsfolk walked around the city, elad by Umber and teh men fo Queens. With stelath, they killed some of the sentrys while others snuck into the barracks, and befor eyou knew it, screamws were ebing heard through the town as the Steel Guard were being killed, battle errupting shortly after. However, even the Steel guard, with some barracks burning and others being attacked by raving mobs, could not hold off an entire city alone. Some fled for their lives, while others were slain by the mobs. When Dendrics forces had arrived, the town bowed, swearing fealty to him.

"Our Lord Dendric, rightful Heir to the Throne in Winterfell, and member of the Noble Stark Family. Please understand our wish to see you on the throne, and our wish to serve you." Dendric was surprised ANYONE still addressed him as such, never having abandoned his family, but knowing full well that most of his family saw him as traitorious swine. "I run with the men of the North. I helped bring the Night Watch to its knees, and have long since stopped being addressed as a Lord of the North. Do you still wish to follow one that would ally with the wild tribes north of the wall?"

The leader of this rabble, a Sturk Stark, stepped foward. "Cousin, while your choices had caused much shame to the family, it was those choices that allowed you to survive. I have not the dignity or power to bring anything back to Winterfell, and my brother Seldus Stark killed himself i Winterfell. I saw and understood why he hated you, but I can not say that you were wrong. You had been betrayed, and even as you tried to reclaim what was rightfully our familys, you saw that you had not the power to do so. Queenscrown was never a huge city to begin with, and it was you would sent able men to the wall to protect us. When no one would come to your own aid, except the men of the FAR north, you saw it as the only way to save your people."

Dendric was touched by these words, and glad to see that at least one memeber of his family, did not hate him. But, his resolve would not be shaken ither. "I accept your fealty, cousin. But know that I am not the noble man I once was. Any town that does not submit to me, will be razed. These wildlings here will enjoy it all too much, and I will as well. Know this."

Sturk nodded his head. "As long as you win and a Stark sits on the Throne of the North, I will follow you to the end cousin." Dendric nodded his head, and looked about at the town, before smiling. This chaos might very well bring him btter results then hsi noble self did last time.

After Winterfell:
Dendric and his group had arrived back in Long Lake. The Battle of Winterfell was intense, but his lack of archers, and the fact his mammoths were not protected vs fire, had led to his downfall. However, while he was away, more wildlings had come and joined him. This was good news.

"Sin, you shall remain behind here and guard this area. Me, Herzik and Umber shall head north and see what we can't do about expanding. The Boltons may have defended Winterfell, but they have been left in a poor situation. I know not many had survived such a battle." However, Herzik seemed to give a growl at him. "Well, easy for you to say. It was a good battle, but I lost all my men. Sin's battalion was the only one to walk away from the battle." Dendric just nodded. "Yes, I overestimated the Mammoths abilitys. Next time, I will not make the same mistakes as this way around. Now, let us go."

Sin remained behind with her detachment, defending the vital Long Lake, while Herzik and Dendric went north. Umber, however, went east, and wished to visit his town, the one now independent and well fortified. Many more days would pass.

A letter from the Raiders:

Dendric had recieved information that the night Watch and their leader had vanished. Dendric was hard pressed to attack an ally, as time continued to pass, but even as the army continued to be between the Tower, and Deepwood, he had no idea what had happened. The letters he had sent north, were unanswered, and it was with a great sigh, that he moved his army to Shadow Tower. When he had gotten there, it was abandoned, with its walls in ruin and most of the gold gone. From what he could tell, the troops raided the treasury, and then abandoned their post, headed for unknown lands.

He had his army rest for a short while, when a small detachment of men rode in from the South. They bore the markings of the Greyjoys, and when they approched, one of them shouted in a gruff voice. "We come in peace. We wish to speak with your lord!" Dendric had not had much communication with the raiders from the sea, and with them wishing to speak with him, peeked his interest.

A man approched, being about 6'0 and lean. He wores a black fur lined cloak with two Scythes on the back. His face is scared on the left side of his forehead with a short scar, and a even smaller one on his right chin. Wearing mail armor, a small Kraken could be seen on it. He spoke calmly.

"Lord Dendric, I am Prince Hodrick, Leader of these men. I have wish to discuss with you a proposal that may benefit us both." Dendric had nodded his head, before speaking. "I shall hear it, but know I make no promises. I reside for the moment here at this keep, but know my capitol is far better defended."

THe talk lasted a day, with breaks and some food. Soon, the Prince left south, and one of his men approched. "What was that about?" Dendric just watched the man and his guards vanish into the distance, before saying. "Conversion. He wishs for us to abandon the old ones, and worship this.. 'drowned' god they babble on about. I have agreed to let their priests travel with us for a time, however told them I doubt you or the other men would want anything to do with them."

The man nodded lightly, as he went back to his duty of guarding the wall. Dendric left and headed back south to Queenscrown, leaving Herzik in charage of the army, with orders to move against Castle Black. It shouldn't put up a fight, possibly abandoned like Shadow Tower, but no sense not taking precaustions. This was not the time to throw units away.

Queenscrown

Dendric looked over at the maps of the world. his scouts reported that the greyjoys were amassing their forces in the south, and that the forces of Leaf, the strange child, were gathering for the final assault. However, Dendric had little time for that, as his war with the Boltons was of relevance to him.

Gathering his council together, he held a war breifing. IN attendance, were Sin, Herzik and Lord Umber. After idle chit chat, Umber made the first move.

"Dendric, I have stood by you these many years since you came to Last Hearth in your first battle to regain your familys pride. I have not asked anything, until now. Last Hearth is my city, and its people have cast aside their loyalty and their honor, deciding instead to keep me, and my living kin, out, and call themselves independent.-----
