Sad, as it appears CROM has died. I haven't really been on for a while, as I've been busy in real life and such, and I come back, and it's dead. So.. Gossip, begin. -looks at Karin and Rose to start off :O- |

If anything the forum is dead. If the game is down, it's probably because nobody informed me. For now I haven't decided yet what to do with the game. But, if I decide to completely step back, I may choose to make the host files public and leave byond once and for all. Well see how things go in a week or 2. |

| The forum is indeed dead, but the game isn't too far behind but from what I've seen there's still some minor RP going about with what little players are left. Though the last few days I have a small increase in the population, hopefully this will continue.. |

| I doubt it will continue. I have been waiting around the game for a couple of weeks to see if there will be any kind of increase. Every now and then we see 10 or so players on which is okay, but not great. But most don't have a clue what they are doing and it only last an hour or two before players start to leave and we get back down to 2-5 players, which really ruins RP. And generally this higher amount of players is on the weekend, so during the week we are normally left with a very low amount. |

| If you're leaving the game, I advise against making the host files public. Find someone you can trust or something to carry on your work. |

| I would just make the host files public, then people can host and run their own servers. If players like the way that server is run then they will play it, if not they wont. Pretty much the same as it is now, but you let the host of the server choose who they want to run the server they host (they can choose there own dedicated staff and make there own server rules and story) instead of having one dictator run the only server available to the players, which obviously doesn't seem to work as we can see by the games state right now. In fact, I am sure if the host files where made available now, we would see a much larger player base. Sure there may be more servers and SOME may be bad, but there would also be more variety in game play and staff availability which would bring in more players than just one server with one story and one set of rules and one set of fail staff. And if even one of those new servers was good, players would start to populate that one, and the bad servers would lose players until they were closed, supporting the more popular servers that players like to play. |

PVPers would have the most populated server. Better off letting the game die rather than have it continuelessly burn in flames of retardation. Edited by System Lord Blade, Oct 2 2011, 05:37 AM.

| The game doesn't really support PvP anymore so that would be difficult, and if more people want to PvP than RP then than let them. RPers can start their own server and if it is popular then people will play it. |
