While taking part of wars on GA, all of the following rules must be adhered to.

1. This is still part of GA, all of the global rules apply and nothing you say or post can go above that.

2. To start waring with other clans, first of all you need your clan to be approved by a member of staff. At which point you can post a challenge in the Clan/Team Challenges forum. If both teams have accepted, and all of the members listed on the teams are able to duel (ie. not currently banned/suspended) then you post your topic in this forum. Please keep the first post of all of these topics up to date. If the poster is currently unavailable, as in does not have access to the forum, then please request the help of a staff member.

3. There are 3 kinds of wars. Endurance, Heart Point, and the most common, Crossfire.

Endurance
Both Teams choose a lineup. Each member is given a number from 1 to whatever the limit is, and they face off starting with #1 on both sides. The winner of each round continues down the opponents list (next to #2, then #3, etc) until one side is eliminated.

Crossfire
The most common war. Each side selects a lineup. Members on those lineups can face any member of the opposing lineup. Once you lose, you're eliminated. The team with the most members standing wins.

Heart Point
Heart Point is similar to a crossfire war, but with lives basically. Each team selects a lineup. Then you set a number of Heart Points. Members on those lineups can face any member of the opposing lineup. However with Heart Point you are NOT eliminated from the war if you lose. The team that runs out of hearts first loses.

4.All Wars are YVD only!

5. As of today, there are no limits on how many wars your clan may have going at any one time. But we do recommend that you keep it to a maximum as 3 as any more than that are quite difficult to keep up with and may result in your teammates not knowing which wars are remaining for them to duel in.

6. You MUST log every duel. This is applied to all wars even if it is not posted in the rules of the war, there is no way around this, if the winner does not have the logs after a duel the match is void.

Why do i need to log?
The log is essentially the entire duel recorded in a way that everyone can see, and it makes it so that your opponent can tell if you have cheated. Also this gives you evidence in a case where you think any player is hacking YVD.

After the duel, the winner sends the logs immediately to the loser upon request, the loser has 5 minutes after the duel to request log. At which point the winner has 5 more minutes to locate and send the logs. If you find anything suspicious with the log, please contact a member of staff and post in the war thread so that player cannot compete in anymore duels until the situation has been resolved. If the log doesn't open for the person, then contact a mod to send them to. If they do not work for the mod as well then the duel is void. If a person requests a log and once it has started to send, cancels the upload (which shows they only intended on making the duel void by no logging), this will be seen as unsportsmanship conduct and will result in the player being disallowed to duel for a week unless they can produce a valid excuse.

Logs that are cut short in the duel do NOT mean that the opponent is hacking.

When do the logs need to be sent?
Request Time: 5 minutes
Sending Time: 5 minutes

What happens if no logs are shown?
Simple answer, the DUEL IS VOID. The situations must be followed as above, any deviation of the rules the duel is void.

7. If you start a war, it is your responsibility to keep it active. One post every week will show us that you are trying to fulfil this. On top of this 1 Duel must be carried out at least once every ten days. If your war doesn't remain active, you will be given a warning post and then if there are no replies 24 hours after this post, a winner will be declared based on the number of wins. You cannot request for them to be reopened.

8. Every so often on YVD there are Run time errors, don't worry if you experience one you are not about to be given an auto loss. In a situation like this, make sure to take a screenshot of the error, do not let it close YVD without taking one. This is done with the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard. After which you will a picture of what was on your screen at the time saved on your clipboard. You can simply paste this into any picture editing program, even paint will do, and save it. At which point upload it/send it to someone else to upload it and post it on the war thread. A designated Global Moderator will then decide if one player had dominating control on the game and will decide if a rematch or if one player is given the win on the game in question. In order to notify all the staff of this please report the post using the report feature with the reason "Runtime Error". Alternativly please IM an online Mod or Admin to resolve your problems.

9. If a member of your Clan/Team is suspended or banned mid-war they are prohibited from finishing it and must be subbed out. In ability to sub them out results in a loss to your team.

10. Consistant spamming will result in verbals/warns

11. If you lose, deal with it, don't come out saying, 'he saked me', this from now on results in dire consequences. You can post a synopsis of the game, but no comments that may insult or anger your opponent.

12. Finish the match! Mid match, if you need to get up you concede to your opponent. No way around it, if you leave mid-way through a match you lose.

13. You must be on your teams roster for that war to play a game for it. Members are allowed to freely sub in and out of wars unless the team leader has a WRITTEN RULE IN THEIR THREAD against doing so.

Thank you for your cooperation.
