The old gm icon was better. The new GMC sucks, I liked how it looked in the past, a lot simpler, the new theme is just lame. The website is too user friendly. Too much, and you see way too many noob-ish games, and it is hard finding a good game among these, or even getting your game noticed.

But... where's my Game Maker 9 they promised? Oh wait, they made ports for devices I don't have. Now I have to wait until they finish with the PSP, iPhone, iPad, and android before they head back to PC.

Game mkaer is just about as advanced as it can get without starting completley from scratch and using three dimensional rooms rather then two. and who can blame them for making ports? most of game maker's PC users arent paying for it. people who use mobile devices like androids and tablets tend to actually have the money to pay for things. they arent a charity group, they're a company. I haven't really been into Game Maker for a while but I'll bet there are some. Of course they need to make money, because they let YoYoGames take control and turn everything upside down...
