Not just because the word 'black' is used. Which would be ludicrous. Words cannot describe how ridiculous and petty this is. It's quite obviously talking about black holes, because it's talking about the solar system. Why would it talk about the solar system, then suddenly make a crack at black people, before talking about planets? People need to lighten up. They want to use it to give us an insight into the big bang. besides, even if one did kill us all, we wouldn't even notice. So why be scared?

Deleted User	did anybody actually read the article? the reason it was considered offensive is that "black holes" sounded liek "black whores" in the audio recording the card played. the audio that was offensive was: "hey world! we're officially putting you on notice!" "you black holes, you are so ominous. Watch your back" a slight majority (maybe 7/11) of my close friends are black. im immersed in the varied cultures they represent, and honestly this s*** is not to be taken lightly. of course you can still explain the universe to someone. but the card doesn't profvide much of a preface to explain that that's what it's describing. is this somewhat an overreaction? of course. but does it really matter? Thinvader: of course they are only making a fuss now. it would have taken anybody that long to notice.
