my response to this: this church seems to be chosing the absolute worst way to deal with a contradiction:

death and suffering exist
god is good
god is omnipotent

obviously, all three cant be true.

most people choose to decide that god is not omnipotent. it's the most logical view, obviously. however, this group seems to have decided that they will go for option D: none of the above.

they think that every death is willed by god as far as i can tell. therefore, because god is infinetley nice it must be that everyone who dies must be at fault. i think?
