Nintendo is still trying to get back into the gaming field, but they seem to be having as hard a time doing that as we did finishing their games as kids. They want it to play retro games as well as new games, but apparently it's not robust enough to play the highest end games. Atari VCS |

I really don't understand why they're releasing it. It only comes with "several classic" games so that's not a huge draw. It won't play the graphics demanding new games nor will it play many new games at 60fps. Maybe they got so far in development and have to release something so they don't lose all their investment? I like the Nintendo retro consoles but they carry so few games. The SNES Mini comes with a great selection but with such a massive library, I don't see why they can't drop 100 snes games on the drive. SNES Mini will have 21 games.. I have 30+ games from RARE on a single disc that came with a special edition Gears of War trilogy. I know a hard drive can handle more than 21 for $80 if another company can give away 30 titles as a promotion. |

I swear, the decisions Nintendo keeps making almost leads me to believe their CEO is David Dohrmann. |
