My son wanted this game but I'm tired of getting him shooters. Later I saw that the game is 2 player co op. I bought it and realized the co op wasn't for the campaign. That was pretty disappointing.

However, there is a multiplayer game mode with multiple objectives so that was a bright point. Even better is the inclusion of bots for splitscreen multiplayer. So not a total disappointment and we're having lots of fun with it.

Not having the 4k Xbox, the graphics still had he kids asking if I was watching a movie or playing a game. Beautifully rendered. A great part of the campaign is not having health regenerate. Instead you have health kits that you find or get from an ally. You can also pick up more grenades from a specific squad mate or ask the lieutenant to point out the enemies who are then highlighted. You can't do it all the time but only after their timers fill.

The only downside to campaign is it's stopping after getting over the Rhine. The story arc gets very personal and also alludes to concentration camps. But it never gets too heavy. If I can literally blow someone's head off a close range and DDay includes missing limbs all over the place, I want to see more of the camp horrors and go fight some more instead of just rescuing one friend.

However, awesome game even after being tired of COD and Battlefield series.
