Yeah, but I had been on an incredibly good string of luck on drops. The stuff I'm getting on the repeat is... not so good. And apparently NWN is on the same server as the other cryptic games because ever since the beta went live, whenever it goes down so does Star Trek Online and Champions Online. Although they were able to get those two back up pretty quickly yesterday. |

I made a wizard on Saturday night, now up to level 26. LGM, please accept the invite sent to you by ArngrimIrongrip. Oh yeah, the Cloak Tower dungeon the three of us did and now don't have credit for? All dungeons are meant for 5 players so two fighters and an overly-inquisitive rogue doing it is a pretty decent accomplishment. We should do it again some time. |

I got the request right after a daily dungeon and thought it was the chump who was link dead through most of it. I accidently clicked 'Later' so I'll look into seeing if the request still lingers! I got my wizard up to around 25 so we'll have to hook up while I wait for Elmira to come home from work when I really should be sleeping. |

That would be awesome. My fighter is only up to 23 btw so if I need a lower one he's the man for the job. |

My guardian kept leveling and so did my wizard so I thought I'd give the Great Weapon Fighter a try since LGM had read disparaging comments about the class. At first it did seem quite squishy and underpowered because one of it's first at-wills is a tedious charge ability requiring you to stand there taking damage for a few seconds to do max damage which really didn't seem comparable in overall dps to the other lower instance damage at-will. I got her up to level 16 this morning and chose the cleric side-kick since the healing seems like a good idea and the cleric actually seems to be better at drawing aggro than the man-at-arms. We'll see if I made a good choice. The GWF is actually kind of fun once you get used to the idea that he shouldn't just stand there shrugging off blows like the Guardian, but should be zipping around like a danged rogue. I was soloing the ogre and two orcs at the merchants hall at about the same level as I did with my guardian. One thing I've been learning to do is using my leaping attack power more advantageously. Unlike the guardian's charge you actually target a landing point and it does radius damage, so I've started keeping it in reserve and using it to place myself behind the targets when they're about to let loose one of their big attacks. |

I keep forgetting to tell Elm. I made a few of the random potions and tried them out. So far, I got two effects. One is being poisoned for a minute, the other is becoming tiny for 15 seconds. I wish the potion of tininess lasted longer 'cause it's fun. An odd effect of it is that if you take the potion then mount your horse while tiny, you become full size and your mount is tiny. It was kind of hilarious making my burly fighter in full armor gallop around on the back of a miniature shetland pony :D |

I see that they're tying it into each current D&D adventure series. If this continues, NWN will see a solid content update once a year. Bodes well for users! |

I splurged and bought the dragonborn playable race. They're rock solid. I must say I'm a little disappointed in the fighter paragon paths. Basically, Guardian and GWF just got each other's current paragon path so you can be a GWF with a splash of Guardian or vice versa. The worst part is the guardian doesn't get the GWF's healing encounter power. |

Minsc & Boo are coming to Neverwinter with the release of the Elemental Evil module. In case you're not familiar with him from Baldur's Gate or other lore, he's the punch drunk ranger with the miniature giant space hamster companion. |

I've been playing the paladin for a little bit now. I expect he'll probably be nerfed eventually. He hits and tanks like a fighter and heals like a cleric.I've only gotten him up to mid 30's but so far no boss has been a challenge for him. |

Started playing again. Lots of new areas and quests for high level. I'm attaching a screenshot of what my fighter solo'ed against the other day. i admit it, my first reaction was to go clean my pants. |

Is Neverwinter free to play? I looked it up on Steam and its $60 just for the base game, not sure I want to drop that much if I have to pay monthly too. I might have to get back into WoW when Legion comes out though and get my MMO fix for awhile. |

Wait, sixty bucks? I think you pulled up the wrong game. It's free to install and free to play. You get two character slots and access to all classes and most races. And it's not pay to win, at least for the PvE. I don't know about PvP since I don't do that stuff. My account name is @Graek, give me a yell and I'll be happy drop some starter gold on ya. You get a free horse at 20th level but I think they changed it so you can actually buy and use one at any level now. Free companion is acquired at level 15 but you can buy them for in-game cash at any time. So with me bankrolling your start you'll have good stuff. Guardian Fighter and Oathbound Paladin are probably your easiest solo classes. Ranger feels the weakest to me. |

Sorry to hear that. The good news is that if you have a 360 or PS4 you can play it on those platforms as well. |

Neverwinter Nights was an okay game. I had a lot of fun on the first play through, but the rules were 3.0, and not fully so. Playing through a second time after 3.5 was out, the rules kind of sucked, and after playing Pathfinder, I've not been able to enjoy D&D 3.x rules at all. :P Neverwinter Online was fun, but it was difficult to coordinate times. I found I was often doing missions with people who'd done them three or four times already, so there was no real 'discovery' while I was playing. It was simply grinding through enemies. Which has it's fun, but it wasn't enough to keep me playing. |

I have a PS4, I'll look into it. It would be nice to get into an MMO again. I haven't played WoW in several months, but I need my fix of that type of play. Can I just find it on the Playstation store? |

I honestly don't know how to get it on the playstation. I'd imagine Google would turn something up. Lance, I mostly solo in NOMMO. As a matter of fact, I'm a member of the SOLO guild. But we do have scheduled dragon runs on Saturdays. Currently trying different time slots to improve attendance. Most content in NOMMO is doable solo with the exception of the group dungeons. There are some exceptions where certain classes just aren't tough enough to go it alone but hey, that's what the guilds are for, eh? |

It's come a long way. There originally wasn't much to do after level 60 but the cap was raised to 70 plus the end content is designed so that you "level" by gear instead of xp. |

Finally downloaded it on the PS4. A whole friggin 13GB of it. I'm not sure how it links up with the PC version or if it does at all. I played it a little, but am still in the starting level. Character name is Hollen Willowrock if that means anything. |

If you play STO you need to figure on playing it a few hours for consecutive days to learn it well. I found navigating through space to be a bit confusing :) NWO consoles use a different server from the pc although there's rumors they'll eventually be joined seamlessly. |

Yeah, STO uses separate servers too. I started playing STO, then got to a point where I couldn't figure out how to complete a quest because I don't know how to equip a phase rifle. So I'm stuck. Already. Damnit. |
