Posted Image It appears Cubicle 7 is becoming a bigger roleplaying game company to be considered. With the success of their new Doctor Who rpg and having the acclaimed Qin oriental rpg, they now are producing a Lord of the Rings rpg that is due out in the second half of 2010. Designer and lead writer is Francesco Nepitello who designed the highly successful War of the Ring strategy board game. Co-designers are Marco Maggi and Roberto di Meglio who also worked on the same board game as well as work on Marvel Superheroes and Age of Conan. The pairs first work was Lex Arcana, the most popular Italian rpg. The license was issued to Sophisticated Games from Tolkien Enterprises who looked toward Cubicle 7 for development and design. Cubicle 7 has quickly garnered fame in the industry by doing great thing with the games they've acquired (Qin from 7th Cercle, SLA Industries from Nightfall Games, Starblazer Adventures using the FATE system).
