After forgetting to nab some doogh in Canada, we then totally blanked on getting some here. With my father in-law visiting, we made a trip across the city to where there is actually a Persian presence with a restaurant and small grocer. I now have some doogh in my possession. Now my question is, will a carbonated yogurt drink make it through customs and to Lance's home safely? It doesn't need refrigeration though it is recommended to be cold before drinking. I don't know the exact custom rules off-hand on food stuff. |

Lance would have to answer that as it varies by country. I know you can't ship tea or rice to people in England. |

Customs tells me that biohazards are not allowed through the border. Is doogh a biohazard? I think it is. It sounds hazardous. Actually, if the product is commercially sealed, it probably wouldn't raise any red flags. It is mostly fresh foods (ie, uncooked foods) and alcoholic beverages that present a problem. Is doogh is fermented? |
