When you guys refer to the Golden Age, are you referring to when raikiri was in, raikiri and chidori assassinated or effortlessly assassinated, villages didnt have kages yet, multiple clans that are in now didnt exist back then, and paralyze gen ruled the game?

I think the games gotten much better since that, therefore, I dub this new era, the platinum age

I'm willing to bet you're a person who'd say a lot of stuns makes the game too boring, by the paralyze gen comment.

id say the platnium age would be when hermit was the Kazekage boateng as the Mizukage and Roi as the hokage. Atleast there were wars everyday unlike the past 6 or so months.

The i would say now is The Dark Ages

If suna were to get a kazekage soon, I think we may see an increase in wars, I think we generally warred the most anyway, we just need some of the people john and being kageless forced out of suna to come back.

Raikiri did assassinate players with low Rfx, but typically non-Rfx builds were pumped full of Int, which was equally as imbalanced since it meant you could easily catch someone's Kawa spot and permanently stun them with Doton Chamber, katons, and whatever else you may have at your disposal. So while it may have been "unfair" for low-Rfx builds who were unprepared (i.e. standing around in Cha), those same types of players typically dominated the 1 vs 1 scenario. You could always go Rfx/Int, and people did, but that meant a pitiful chakra pool, thus no stamina regeneration during fights. So aside from Str being less useful than the other three stats, yes, it was mostly fair. The other three stats were overpowered in their own unique ways, which is in direct contrast to what you see today: pillow fights with stats and jutsus that have been nerfed beyond belief.

As far as the clans, Akimichi, Deidara, and J@shin were added several months before the end of the first wipe. So you really don't have a point there either.

If there was anything that was very, very wrong about this time period, it would be that Bone Harden started off overpowered as all hell and never got nerfed hard enough. The same goes for Bone Sword. But other than that, it was pretty well balanced.

It's okay, I understand you're only upset because of this post: http://s1.zetaboards.com/GOA/single/?p=222936&t=3927103

And after all, you were just a larva back in "those days", my beautiful black butterfly Hokage. I imagine most things seemed imbalanced (mostly overpowered) to a Gater Nara..

Also, if you're going to try and ban me under the guise of filter avoidance, make sure you're banning people who say J@shin. Know what I mean, n|gga?
On second thought, if you need a better reason to ban me, it should be for being cynical. Dozens of accounts have been banned for cynicism, you know. I suppose it's against the rules!

Pillow fights, haha thats good. Yea, it is too hard to kill people now, but the way it was before, id have to disagree, int/rfx builds could kill you well before running out of chakra (and I used to), also, back then kawa was used every two seconds, people would kawa to avoid 1 hit KO power attacks, the way things work now, you have to slowly drop a persons stamina. I like the idea of gradually bringing someone down because it makes them less likely to run (though its also much easier for them to run)

One thing I must say I miss, genius trait

Of course Rfx/Int builds could kill people without running low on chakra and letting their health get dangerously low. The options are: Raikiri, Kawa whore, and run (a lot).

That first sentence for the faq, "No clan should be the best...", really make me wish I was playing this when dan was around. Some things I say may have been taken seriously.
