Spherus Basic Information: Pokémon Name: Spherus Pokémon Sprite: (made by Tora)Optional Image: Species Information: Pokémon Species: Computer Virus Gender Ratio: :genderless Weight: 105.2 Lbs. Height: 3' 1" Type::electric :poison Area:: Urban/Power Plant Abilities: Levitate Special Abilities: Software Technical Possession [Does not have any special forms from this though.] Body Regeneration Species Description: Species History: The first Spherus was a small virus, made of a few random spheres, created awkwardly by college students in an attempt to steal a Porygon. Upon encountering the Porygon the original was meant to steal, it attempted to copy the Porygon, though the pokemon's copyright protections caused the copy to be a highly corrupted data stream that the virus attempted to incorporate into itself. The patriarch rampaged though the internet, collecting and storing data from the world-wide web. The influx of data caused it grow into a larger and hefty beast, that under the right circumstances, may absorb the power of any Pokémon. Eventually the first Spherus developed the ability of replication and made many copies of itself sending them everywhere that had a good internet signal. When one is in the physical world, having escaped the computer system, its data-form body is interpreted into a semi-physical form of poison bubble spheres each containing a single bit of stolen data, holding a tiny fraction of its power. Porygon's data allowed the creation of a physical body, but the high level of corruption and the sheer amount of conflicting data inside a Spherus cause it to form just these electrified bubbles, each representative of a single bit of data; meaning millions make up the form of one. To the naked eye the structure isn't much more than a hundred or so bubbles as the smaller ones form a lattice structure into larger ones; creating a body around the same toughness as a Porygon. On the event that a Spherus's body is destroyed, it hides in the nearest computer, usually the owners Poketch, until it has enough strength to re-emerge. When under these circumstances, Spherus MUST heal itself, attempting to use a Pokémon center healing machine will fail, but may cause Spherus to hide within for a couple hours, or the machine to experience a blackout. The best bet to revive one hiding in a poketch is a strong electric attack to the device. Spherus are most natural; however, to the electronic world and thus are commonly found all over the internet. They are completely impervious to attack while in digital form and are known to play around and cause delays in electronic devices though mischievously wasting energy. Its very rare for any real harm to be done by their actions. However, thieves have been known to use them to steal data and destroy hard drives. Also, a band of mischievous teenagers in Kijutsu used them to make the street lights pulse in a rhythmical fashion, perfectly harmless, but still causing people to scream about aliens for weeks. Occasionally, a wild Spherus may physically manifest out any computer, a Poketch or a center healing machine; they will attack whoever stands too close and steal power from wherever they can, causing temporary black-outs.
