Ok. So this story is for the following people only: -Caitlin/Angel -Krystal 山中 -Leon Ni'Kate -the puppy Either Cait or Leon suggested making a smaller scale story for just the three of us, so that we could keep a story going, and Krys wanted to join in, so I had a spontaneous idea for this story and poof. Ok, so the rules: --Posting rules: -Only the previously mentioned people are allowed to post. -If a post is directed to a specific person/people, it is polite to wait for that person's/those people's response(s) before posting. -If someone takes too long to reply, we'll make up something that happened to you to explain why you're gone, and you'll have to make up a way to come back. -Try to give the other people time to respond, such as a day or two, before counting them as (temporarily) out of the story. --Story rules: -This is a future-type story that does not involve (very much) magic. It involves technology. -For anything that is not obvious, you must include an explanation of how it works. For example, if I say there is a man with wings, I must explain that he had a genetic modification to gain wings. However, aliens need no explanation. -Try to make all your ideas credible. I don't want this story to get too wacky. --Ship design: -The Hercules-HTT35 is a military ship, mostly used as a trooper transport. There are six thousand numbered rooms on the ship. All numbered rooms act as bedrooms. --Notes: -I will update this post whenever I feel the need to. The rules are debatable, so if there is a rule you find the need to debate, please do so. -Have fun! Please, post as frequently as possible, and have as much fun as possible, just try not to screw with the storyline. Feel free to contribute to it as much as possible, but not twist it in a way that changes the entire feel of the story. Oh, did I mention to have fun? |

Ok, Krystal (and I) just made an example of something I should have mentioned a while ago. Combined posts. If you have the means to communicate such an idea, it is possible for multiple people to make a single post to cut down on the number of posts needed to express an idea. A perfect example of this is Krystal's post in the story, where I wrote all of Drake's lines. Also note that using another person's character is unacceptable in any situation other than a combined post. |

@Leon: Well, the story should continue to escalate in intensity until the end where everything is resolved. I can't wait 'til it gets really exciting! @Leon's second post: Sorry for the delay, Leon, but (and you should know) that I can't write a big storyline post on my iPod. Ok, so here is the part where you give a light background on your characters, their abilities, and perhaps why you're qualified to be on the team to transport/protect/take care of/whatever the creature. Obviously, Krystal and Drake have knowledge of the creature, but there's not much else obvious. Also, you may post here what job your characters have, for example: Drake is a computer expert/tactician. His job is to come up with the strategy of the team he's on, and also work with all the computer systems encountered on a mission. He also sometimes is the demoman, placing charges at strategic locations to accomplish a mission. The reason to post that here is because everyone should already have a general idea of each person's job from the type of uniform the person is wearing, and the fact that anyone can access the public profiles from any location in the ship. |

Medicine in this future is AMAZING! The captain just broke his back, and he's already up and giving orders from the bridge! Maybe he's in a future-type wheel chair thing? And the medic is still by his side? Some stuff about Kalas: He's just a little above average height. He's not tall, but he looks it due to his very slender and slim build. He has long hair that just barely rests on his shoulders. Both his eyes are blue. His preferred clothing of choice is long pants and long sleeved shirts. When going out, he is always seen with a loose jacket and a beanie type hat. He is a member of the lowest ranking people in the military: the infantry. He joined as soon as he could when he turned 18. Before that, he was just living on the streets, moving from shelter to shelter, taking on odd jobs here and there. But he was smart and saved his money in a bank account that he had "acquired" before he lived on the streets. He is known now for his extreme marksmanship skills, and freakishly quick reflexes. People joke that he's not human. He has also taken up as a hobby the old art of fighting with blades at melee range. His personality is usually calm and laid back, except when Barry is ragging on him. He likes to joke and have a good time, but he knows when he needs to be serious. He also seems to love life more than most people he knows. And he has a secret, one he has killed for in the past, to ensure that nobody will ever know... |

Well, Plasma (note the capitalization) has many uses, depending on the type and level of stimulation. Medics are able to use Plasma as a Bacta-like substance to help heal injuries. However, Plasma is very expensive due to the danger of base mining, a process necessary for making Plasma. |

@Leon: Well, be prepared to pay for it.  Another thing about Drake: He's almost always calm, and almost always thinks before he feels. He often looks like he's putting himself at risk, even though he's only putting out the minimal effort needed to stay safe. Sometimes his decisions seem cold, or heartless, but they are always the most efficient. Some people joke about him being an android or cyborg, because of these traits. |
