Reminds me of my Wii. Our first one broke and we are now on our fourth one due to them sending us Wiis that don't work. All of our data was erased as well so I wrote to the company about the whole thing. They sent me a letter back telling me to call them so we could work the whole thing out. So I am pretty sure you can get your stuff back by calling them.

To add onto my previous comment, they can't get the data back though. That was only for the old games we bought off of the Wii shop channel. :/ |

Fourth....fourth Wii???!! That's like....the equivalent to the X360's fail rate! (my cousins are on their fifth 360) I had no idea Nintendo products could die on their own! My own idiocy is what killed my Wii.... But to get off of the sad thoughts....its not all bad. My shop data was still intact. So I did not have to re-buy all my VC and WiiWare games. And because I had them all on a SD card, I didn't have to re-download them either! Their save data is gone too, but at least I still have the games themselves. Oh, and were you the one who called Nintendo for your Wiis? If not, you really missed out! When you're put on hold, classic Mario music plays! I was kinda sad when the CSR answered and cut off the music! lol!

Well, she said they were sending her broken ones. So, assuming she meant that they were unusable in their returned conditions, that's technically only one true fail. However, that is also assuming that you mean that the 360 failed after being returned to your cousins. I hate assuming; assuming leads to nothing good, in my experience. |

Yeah, the second one spat out the games we put in it and the third just didn't feel like working at all! I am happy that you still had some stuff on your SD card, we had no memory what so ever. And I was close to beating TP!!! :/ |

 This topic sucks too much. People need to stop commenting in it, it's too depressing.  Although, I suppose it's a good idea to have a place for people to vent about their horrible experiences...
