This piece of art has not yet been released publicly, but we noticed that Link appears to have grown to full adulthood. He looks older than he did in Twilight Princess. Is that a correct assumption? Shigeru Miyamoto: Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood. There is one hint. Maybe from the art work you can see that he's not holding a sword. IGN: Has he lost his Master Sword? Shigeru Miyamoto: [Laughing] I just wanted to make sure that you understand we are making it. If he means the game, then we have an interesting discussion here. If he means the Master Sword, then the discussion you aimed to create becomes void. However, since we do not know what "it" is, as of this moment, we are free to discuss the subject (blindly) until more information comes out.

There are soooo many people out there who are in doubt that a Wii Zelda is in development. Here's my random idea: Link doesn't start with a sword, and doesn't get one 'till he retrieves the Master Sword. So the first chunk of the game is played swordless, and you must rely on your other weapons and items. This makes the Master Sword all the more epic when you retrieve it. You will truly feel more powerful. I hope this is the case. My most favorite sword of all time has kinda become a bit stale over the years. Now it feels more like just an upgrade over the starter sword. And with other swords, gameplay-wise, being more powerful, its sort of lost its charm. I would like it if the Master Sword was the only sword in the next game, too, with a cool power upgrade late game ala TP. Only, the upgrade should also be usefull outside of the dungeon its aquired in....lookin' at you Palace of Twilight!
