Ok, a little explanation: the original "The Story" didn't disappear, it only needs a bit of a jump-start. Leon and I are going to kick ass with a post that will blow the world to smithereens. However, until we are able to compose such an awesome post (we have the idea, but not the time) I have decided to start Part Two of the story. As you can tell, Part Two takes place in the future. There will be references to some things that happened, and some things yet to happen. You can see two things that have yet to happen in this first post, for example. Anyway, now is the time for you guys to jump in and make your appearance. Just make sure everyone gets a chance to be in the story. We have a few new people in the pack, so we'll (hopefully) have a few new characters. I hope you all have fun with this new story. Now, enjoy! |

Note on using my characters: -Please try to avoid using my characters in your posts. If you are unable to do so, please make sure you fully understand the character's personality and assess if what you are going to write for that character's speech would actually come out of that character's mouth. -Cait's post brought this recurring problem to my attention. Every time someone other than me uses one of my characters, I have to edit the post to make it sound like it's actually the character speaking. I will use her post as my example for this problem: Cait said: "Soldier2: --- First a fox tail and now wolf ears..." My edit: "Soldier1: --- First a fox tail and now wolf ears. What's next? Bat wings?" 1. I assumed that Cait was trying to use the arrogant, smart mouthed character, so I changed the soldier number. 2. The character I assumed Cait was trying to use (assuming is bad, but necessary at times) would have added a smart comment at the end, as apposed to making a strange, out of place comment. |

It's not just you. It's everyone who attempts to use one of my characters. It's a recurring problem that I felt needed to be brought to everyone's attention. I was only using your mistake as an example, since it is the most easily available example. Also, to be sure, I'm not scolding anyone; I'm simply pointing out a problem in hopes that awareness of the problem will help fix it. Anyway, I don't want this topic to be so negative, so I'll say this: I hope that everyone has a chance to be a part of, and enjoy the story. It's always been fun for me to come up with a nice little story, and roleplay the heck out of it until it becomes stupid ... kind of like TV series.  I hope you all have as much fun as I do.

Ok, seriously: What. The. Hell? Is it the Forum? Are there not enough people here? What is it? When my computer started crapping out on elfwood again, I thought that when I transferred here, maybe this place would become as popular for you guys as Ew. Since I saw that nothing was happening here, really, I thought maybe if I started the story again, Fur Quest might become a bit more active, but not only did that not work, but there has not been more than a single reply to the story! What's going on?! Do you guys prefer the baby barf green over the black and blue? Would you rather be disorganized, commenting on whatever you feel like all in one place, rather than having sections to keep all posts related? Why is it that when I'm on Ew, there are fifty bagillion posts a day, but when I'm bound to FQ, I'm lucky to see a single post in a whole week that isn't made by me, Leon, or Krys. |
