Galactic year: 1-01_A-01 The first year that the Interstellar Treaty of Information and Technology was put into act. Earth year: January 2, 3010 One galactic year is equal to the average of the orbital periods of all planets under the influence of the first Interstellar Treaty. One galactic year is equal to approximately 2.693241 Earth years. 1-01 denotes the first galactic year. Galactic years are separated into ten galactic months. Galactic months are separated into ninety nine galactic days. A-01 denotes the first galactic day of the first galactic month. The galactic months are named after the ten planets who signed the original Interstellar Treaty. They are as so: Arcon, Zenthos, Earth, Hekonite, Sentrolith, Plekotec, Deknogranth, Whajilohanin, Ninin, and Tanthos. They are denoted by the first letter of their name: A, Z, E, H, S, P, D, W, N, and T. A note on age: a person’s age in years is not counted by galactic years, but the length of a year on the person’s home planet. The Ravagers – grayish humanoid creatures, zombie-like in skin texture, with yellow spikes growing in random places according to their mood – wear damaged armor not too dissimilar from that of the Mandalorians from Star Wars. Except, the only color worn by the Ravagers is a faded red. The Ravagers were once humans, but their minds and bodies have been corrupted and tortured by a poison they once thought was the cure for the disease of death. This elixir they invented was meant to prevent aging, but the measurements for one of the ingredients were off by 3.719 grams. This false elixir caused the group of test subjects to mutate into the monstrosities they are now. Retaining the ability to reproduce was the biggest problem of all; now they exist in all corners of the universe. Earth: the Ravagers begin a surprise attack by using a wormhole generator stolen from Deknogranth. The planet is becoming a desolate wasteland from an alien attack for the second time in recorded history. In camp site DC-36697, one of the few surviving military bases, among all the soldiers in the room sit two children at the age of fifteen. They stand out from the rest of the soldiers not only because of their age, but also because of their species. The boy is half fox, and the girl is a shapeshifter. The boy stands out more, because he couldn’t hide his tail even if he tried, but the girl could appear as perfectly normal as anyone else. Soldier1: --- I hear we’re going to receive some more weirdies sometime soon. Soldier2: --- Weirdies? Soldier1: --- You know, non-humans. I can’t believe they sent us these kids, first. What the heck is some little fox boy going to do for us fighin’ those Ravagers? Soldier3: --- I hear that none of the new transfers are any older than 20. Soldier1: --- You’ve got to be kiddin’ me! How in the heck are we supposed to save the Earth if all our soldiers are kids?! Soldier4: --- I hear that those “weirdies” are pretty powerful, even when they’re young. Right, Nyre? Nyre: --- I suppose. If defeating Zederick the Fourth and saving the universe from being annihilated is strong, then yes. Soldier1: --- Whodie the What? Soldier4: --- Forget about it. From what I hear, these kids were frozen for more than a century, and only thawed out about a month ago. All of their battles took place long before you or I were born. We don’t have any records on the guys that they fought. Soldier1: --- Great, just what we need. Century old animal kids. Soldier4: --- From what I hear, the guys they fought back then were much tougher than the guys we’re fighting now. These “weirdies” as you call them are the only people alive that still know how to use magic. As far as I know, at least. Nyre: --- You know, it’s kind of annoying when people talk about you like you’re not here. Soldier4: --- Sorry. Soldier 1: --- Whatever. Soldier2: *looking out the view-port* --- I think I see those weirdies you guys keep talkin’ ‘bout approaching. |

*enters base, head down hiding face with her hair* Soldier1 --- First a fox tail, and now wolf ears. What's next? Bat wings? *sits, head down staring at her shaking fists* |
| You're the kind of guy that could slit my throat, and with my last breath, I'd apologize for getting blood on your shirt. | |
