To expand on my fear:
It may be that a weapon checker will ask you to remove or cover up the red and blue. I'd hate to see a lot of time and effort put into this jav only to have it fail due to such a minor detail. Also what are the thoughts for the Basileis bodyguard sword? I do have a design for a latex & painted cross guard and pommel. Add a gray cover and some black felt drawing & you can have a personalized Basileis bodyguard sword. |

I don't know if we have officialy decided on the logo yet but I think it will be some variathin of this:![]() As for the colors I realy don't think it will be a problem. It's got the yellow cover and no one who has been to any battle is going to mistake a javalin for a red or blue weapon. |

saw the dag board topic. My bad about the colored haft. My assumptions come from teaching new people that if you see X color on the pommel/haft it is this type of weapon. I know on the bel boards having streamers isn't looked down upon as they have been seen on spears, swords, even shields. |

I've seen streemers passed at national events, but there still may be some problem because it is a grey area that is not necicarily specified by the rules. So, I guess we'll just see what happens. |
