I plan on getting prescription safety glasses, so it won't be too much of a problem for me.

be careful as to what kind you get. Some are flimsy, some don't breath (nothing worse than fogged goggles when swinging stick) and some are uncomfortable.

I'm not going to get goggles. In fact I already have a pair of goggles with the electric fan built in. But no, I'll get some through work so they'll be free and not cheap... like shop glasses.
