I think we shoudl have them be required to wear goggles or something. B/c today i almsot broke a kids glasses on accident, and after that he got kicked in his face. I think it would be smart to have a rule or a waver saying that if they fight with glasses we arent responsable for it breaking etc. And also it woudl suck if the galss broke in their eyes. |

The waiver does protect us from liability for personal property dammage. We should probably be more strict about the waivers. |

its hard to require someone to wear things like that you just gotta be careful with your swings i'm not sayin it was your fault sometimes head shots happen but you really gotta try to be mindful of glasses and the waivers are kinda a must once we start to grow |

Could we suggest to people with glasses to wear contacts? At least for practice? Cuase head shots do happen...(hopefully not on purpose)...but they happen. We cant be to blame, if someone wears glasses i think we should at least let them know it's at their own risk and it's not our fault if they get broken |

I'm just going to throw this out there right now, I'm not wearing goggles. Waiver, cool. Goggles, no. If my glasses get broken, my fault. |

In all honestly contacts are more of a risk. First of all unless your eighteen or older you can't buy actual glass, glasses. They're all plastic. Also getting hit in the face with contacts can send them to the sides or under the eyelids. If a person has hard contacts that could cause permanent damage to the eye. Also contacts are very expensive in the long run compared to glasses, and not all of us can pay for them. To say that "if you wear glasses that you have to wear contacts" is ludicrous. I agree we just have to be more stringent on the waivers. I my self have lost a pair of glasses, so I understand how much it sucks, lesson be learned, don't wear them while fighting. I would feel very few people willing to get swung at, and willing to swing back, wouldn't be able to handle taking off the specs and learning to fight a little blind. -Reimed |

I'm nearsighted, so I can't really distinguish facial features over 15 feet away. I just deal with it. Memorize the blurry objects! Seriously tho, f-word glasses. Oh yeah, what is this "way-vurr" you speak of? Only pussies take legal action. Snitches get stitches! If you're scared go to church! |
