So Heaps and i were arguing about atlatl's, like if they were legal or not. They arent legal right? i couldnt find anything in the rules |

They are not, I believe they are on the list of banned weapons. you can generate way too much force with them. |

They are not on the list of disallowed weapons but as Grukar said, they produce an enormous amount of force and are probably not very safe. 4.1.11.10 - Disallowed weapons include but are not limited to: Nets, lassos, pungee sticks, nunchucks, tonfas, double-ended daggers, punch daggers |

There is one camp that say as long as the atlatl is used for gaining more distance from a throw it should be fine, ie, no close range uses. If you follow on the bel boards, Anna has said, trying to hit anything with an atlatl is hard when the target isn't moving. |
