one does it have batteries and a place to plug other things in? also it would be theme music. but accasionally play something else. but we can basically try and make some big posters advertise around the schools and campus's and have a little "proformance" and try and get people to join.

Yes it does have a place to attach MP3 players, laptops, etc. Yes it runds on batteries, it is a tube amp and will go on full volume with 6 AA's for 13 hours. It is small, but loud. I still don't know if the party thing is a good idea. Basically what you're saying is to have a regular dag practice with music and advertisements. Doesn't sound that exciting.

I think the main purpose of the party is to bolster our numbers. Besides, it will give us a chance to show off for a larger group of people than normal.

we contact the local cons and set up demos. It really isn't that hard to do. The issue is having 5-10 people in full garb show up at the con and perform for the masses. However, at the con we can get names, numbers, & e-mails of those interested and then direct them to us later as well as giving them a small flier.

However, this falls under the advertising campaign that is non existent here.

Capercallie, Enter the Haggis, Kiltartan road, and a whole bunch of albums labeled "Various artists"

Oh, and I'm in for performing for the masses. Comic Con has a Dag booth every year, so I think we have a good chance at getting into phoenix con
