Wrap the fiberglass in athletic tape before using it. That way the dap gets a better hold (no need for sanding) and there is no dap residue on it if you mess up or it breaks down later. You just strip the foam off and unwrap the tape. |

I disagree with you Grukar. PVC isn't always crap. I had a red made out of Sched. 80 and it lasted four rebuilds before I sold the core. Four rebuilds is a long-ass core life with the way I swing. |

Definitely agree with Grukar. Besides you said it lasted four rebuilds. The heat here can make pvc brittle, and fiberglass will last pretty much forever. |
