Posts: 1,857 Group: Admins Member #164 Joined: Oct 25, 2008	as i am still so ecstatic joining this forum... because: 1. at least now im really convinced that FRH is also known on "this side of the world" and 2. because most of us share the same thing: not everyone can understand our fanatic side.. now i'm just curious how u guys knew about them and how the fanatic in you started to "unleashed"... mine was just last May (i know im a late one!), i went to Manila for a 2 week vacation and my 7 and 12 yr old niece are watching Hana Kimi... they watched it ALL the time and never missed an episode.. i was kinda frustrated because if we have plans to go someplace we have to watch till the show's over.. so i figured might as well join them.. and the episode was when they're in the hot spring and i just saw chun's body!!! i mean who wouldn't be.. right?!? so when i got back here i started watching online.. then started reading his blog... then became a fanatic.. and the rest is history... so what's your story?? I went to study in Oklahoma for my third year of university back in 2006 and decided to take up Mandarin lessons. I was already a fan of F4 from my Hong Kong friend back in England and I wanted to find some different music to play with. So I went on wikipedia and typed in Taiwanese singers and it came up with a list of all these bands and singers. The first one I clicked was Fahrenheit and the page was so small lacking a lot of info. They seemed interesting so I went onto youtube and typed them in. I then sat down and watched Xia Xue and loved the song (but not them yet...). I then watched their others MVs and by the time I got to Zhao Xing Fu Gei Ni I couldn't stand it anymore and bought their album! Anyways, the first guy I liked was Jiro and I watched KO One becasue I wanted to know more about him...I watched the first episode without knowing what they were talking about and really liked Jiro and his nice muscles hehe. But then a certain person came along in his blue sports car and that was it...I forgot about Jiro and went with Calvin instead! After that I couldn't stop learning more about them. Hehe

I listed to some of ther music and was like wow i like them and i really liked jiro with his fun personality and musles i liked jiro in the beginning like jo but when i saw arron in KO One i fell in love with him and i have liked him since. though for some reason i have a felling i have meet him when i was a little kid. when he live in new york and i was visiting... weird i am

Posts: 7 Group: Junior Members Member #195 Joined: Aug 3, 2009	This place is definitely bigger than I thought it would be! And that's good news <3 I'm sure FRH would love it, right? hehehe. Anyway, as for me... well, I had already been into anime and such, and I had already liked some Japanese music from the insert songs. I was sorta into J-Pop, but I didn't really know Johnny's Entertainment or anything like that (boybands like NewS, Arashi, KAT-TUN, etc), but I do now (thanks to Fahrenheit, in a way!). Well, one of my close online friends showed me a music video that her other friend showed her. It was Jay Chou's Fearless. I thought it was really cool, and it was the first Chinese song that I actually listened to and liked. I was also surprised because it had rap in it, and I actually liked it. I... pretty much detest English rap, lol. I think it was January '08. So then I had a Jay phase, was absolutely obsessed with him for a while. Enough to join a forum. I eventually saw Fahrenheit in people's signatures and avatars and such. By then I knew the group name, but not the actual members or anything. I was pretty neutral, not very interested. But then, eventually, I saw a video on youtube with a Fahrenheit song in the background and really liked it. Then I looked them up, listened to their other songs and voila! That happened around May last year. And now I'm a huge fangirl! xD I think Jiro was actually my favorite at first, but now I love Arron the most, by far. If it weren't for Arron, I think Calvin would be my favorite, but I really can't stand it when any one of them is gone from an event or something. It feels wrong, you know? xD Funny story about Jiro actually... I didn't realize it until recently, until I stumbled upon the same picture. You know when Jiro and Arron went to Disneyland in Hong Kong a couple of times? Well, one of them where Jiro was posing (one of the pictures without Arron)... I saw that picture ages and ages ago, even before I discovered Jay. And I thought he was really cute xD But I couldn't find his name or anymore pictures of him, so it was just a random cute Asian guy. Tsk tsk, I could've liked Fahrenheit sooner :/ Oh well, I know them now, so that's good! That's my story, a bit long though xD Edited by Okami-Chan, Aug 3 2009, 12:52 PM.

For the last 3 or so years I've been listening to Guang Liang. He was the first mandopop singer I came across because of seeing one of his videos at a Chinese Restaurant and then seeing the 2 Chinese Boys parody it on youtube. From his videos I discovered Fish Leong and somehow I clicked my way from her to FLH's video for "Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue" and I was hooked. Can't count how many times I played that song the first week.

Fahrenheit fans make the best friends <3 Posts: 3,320 Group: Admins Member #2 Joined: Jul 28, 2008	I've only seen the very beginning so far, so I won't pass a judgment on it quite yet. Ya Lun is drool-worthy in it, but in my opinion the story is a little lacking. I'll leave the longer response for Ricca ^^
