Hey everyone :]
I'm Kaitlyn V! : D
I first discovered Fahrenheit when watching Hana Kimi (taiwanese version XD). I heard their music, and fell in love with it (and with Jiro and Wu and their adorableness).

I'm 16 years old, and live in Arizona in the US of A. I grew up in Canada though and can speak French as well. I'm also learning German this year, but next year I'm taking a college night class to learn Mandarin ! ! : D (after constantly being pestered, my parents gave in haha).
I'd take it this year, but 11th grade is my busiest/toughest year, and I have to stay in school until 5-6pm nearly every night anyways so there's no way I could be able to take a college class. ¬.¬

I almost moved to Taiwan 4 years ago due to a possible job opportunity my dad had (he works for Intel). We would have moved but intel wouldn't pay the .. like $12,000 a year for my english schooling, and we decided it'd be better to stay in the States. -lesigh-
I didn't really listen to any asian music or watch any asian shows 4 years ago, but now it consumes my lifeee <3

I originally attached myself intensely to Jrock, but slowly opened up to Korean music (thanks to BDSK and the Trax), and then Taiwanese/Chinese music (thanks to Tank and to Fahrenheit)
and I am now like.. such an asian-white chick haha. And Wu is my favorite person in the world. x D I loveee him. ;]

I don't know why I'm writing so much...
Sorry XD

.... You are scarily like me... I'm a little frightened o.o (xP)

I'm also a sixteen-year-old Junior, and I'm also taking German this year, and I"m also planning on taking college courses next year (albeit I want to switch from German to Japanese xP), and I'm also stuck at school until at least six every day... I also discovered Fahrenheit through Hana Kimi and had originally loved JRock, and as of four years ago I was pretty much unaware the eastern side of the world existed xP ... And Wu's also my favorite person in the world =D <3

So yes, WELCOME! I'm sure you'll love it here =D

OMG YAY We're amazing : D <333

I'm glad there's some people my own age though. x]
and I'm mega glad there's another Wu lover that I can gush over Wu with. lol <3

Weirdly enough, I remember my friend having pics of Miyavi in her binder and I was always intrigued by him, because I thought he was a woman. ˚∆˚
But then I started listening to him after I found Jibun Kakumei on youtube, and then I started liking him, and then over like 3-4 months I couldn't even imagine him looking like a woman. xD
3 years later I'm best friends with that friend :D She got me addicted to dramas too. First it was Bull Fighting, then Hana Kimi (which I even bought), and now I'm watching X Family. When I finish X Family I'll start something else. :3

Oh yeah, there're people of all ages here =D (Our age is the best, though xP)

My mom originally thought that all the boys in Fahrenheit were female >_> I wasn't very happy with her when she kept pushing the issue... ^^;;

I have a friend who's also that way, although she introduced me to manga and ultimately Hana Kimi (the manga) which I love probably more than Fahrenheit (O.O), through which I found the Taiwanese version and then Chao Xi Huan Ni, and then Fahrenheit, and then the wonders of Taiwan xP (and of course Brunei!)

Oooh I can gush a lot about Chunnie! =D wh00t!

Haha yep
Chao Xi Huan Ni. My first Fahrenheit song xD<3

I really don't like manga or anime. I'm pretty much repulsed by it ˚.˚
There's all these anime nerds at my school that dress up as characters (badly, mind you) and they have greasy nasty hair and zits all over and they freak me out T.T So that's one of my turnoffs. (And they think like running around being extremely obnoxious is funny. It ISN'T. Screaming "RAPE!" at nothing and yet at everything is not amusing.)
And then, anime/manga art has such.. giant.. chests on females and skinny little figures with impossible hips and NO ONE FIGHTS A 50FOOT DEMON WEARING A BIKINI. D<
I feel so demeaned whenever I see anime stuff. T.T

Anddd my dad has stopped questioning my asian loves. XD
I'm trying to get my mom to listen to Shinhwa and Big Bang since she likes more hip-hop / gangster music like that (while I listen to rock/ballads/techno/metal/anything really and my dad listens to like 80's rock and my brother hates music lol. we're a musically eclectic family.) But I don't think she really understands the extent of my asian-men-lovingness.

Well, I certainly know where you're coming from there ^^; We have an anime/manga club at our library that only a couple of my friends and a whole bunch of middle schoolers attend... All they do is run around, yes, pretending to rape each other, while shouting about how much they love characters from Naruto and Inuyasha >_> That is the kind of "otaku" that I despise, since they really don't know what they're talking about at all. I don't really watch anime, either, but I do read quite a bit of manga... But only the ones that don't have ridiculous things like what you mentioned (I'm right there with you on that regard o.O It's just annoying...) But I guarentee you that if you read Hana Kimi, you will love it =D

My parents don't question it anymore and pretty much ignore me whenever I tend to rant about them ^^;; My dad actually tries to understand it a little bit, so he recognizes the people I'm talking about when I say their names (unlike my mom, who goes "Who's that?" until I get frustrated and walk away), probably because he has almost as eclectic of a taste in music as I do ^^

That's cool about your dad Kejli :o
And yeah the "anime club" was in the art room at lunch last year and this year, and since I had two art classes last year I was there at lunch a lot. It was.. scary. T.T
I've actually read the Peach Girl manga and really liked it. I'll see about Hana Kimi, but I don't really like the art style a whole lot.

Yeahhh those middle schoolers really make me afraid for ... well ... lots of things.

At first I didn't like the art style, either, but then it really really grew on me... In the middle of the series it was most certainly the best... At the beginning it's really rough and at the end she changed her entire style and it just isn't good anymore =/ ... But the story makes you care for the characters so much it makes me cry every time I so much as see the last volume ^^;

Some parts of the drama are exactly the same and others are /completely/ different *cough*theending*cough* (still annoys me... but I already ranted enough about that in another thread xP)
You can read it at www.onemanga.com. They have the entire series ^^
