source: chinatimes translated by: x-WISHFULthinking@asianfanatics.net Born in Brunei, Wu Zun came to Taiwan to develop his career. With his parents not by his side, he misses them terribly and this has become his inspiration for his acting and interpretation of roles. In his first ever movie "Butterfly Lovers", he has to film a number of crying scenes, however he does not once use eye-drops but cries on the spot when needed. He says that he only needs to think of his mother who passed away 5 years ago from cancer, and tears will come flowing out. Today, Chun has stepped out of the circle of idol dramas, and bravely attempt his first ever movie. His mother is his greatest driving force, he says because "now whenever I do anything, I will not feel as scared as the time when she left us." Alone In Taiwan; Breaks Down Into Tears Chun says that he hardly ever cries, and the only time he has done it infront of everyone was also because he was missing his parents. At the time, Fahrenheit were all together at an event, and they began talking about each of their parents that were never by their side. Chun thought of himself, being all alone in Taiwan, wanting to see his parents but cannot, hence he was unable to control himself and broke down into tears. Mother Hid Sickness From Him At the time, Chun was studying in Australia and it was not till his graduation that his mother told him she had got cancer. When she passed away, the pain he felt turned into courage, he came into Taiwan, and now has become one of the biggest male stars in Taiwan. Poor Chun. I lost my mom too, and I know how painful it is. Jia you, Chun! Your mom can see you now and is so proud of her son's accomplishments. |

*eyes tear up* Oh wow, I don't even want to imagine what that would be like, but I really admire his being able to turn his grief into courage and to end up being so successful. Edited by Kejli, Sep 7 2008, 04:25 PM.
