I finally got around to watching eps 11 and 12. They were by far and away the best eps of the entire series. JIRO!! Your acting has improved so much!! I was crying so hard! However...what is up with the kiss at the end?! Weak! This was supposed to be his first time starring as the male lead. Throw us a bone already! Okay, ya know what? The writers of RL are NEVER allowed to write for mah baby again.

Yeah, I agree. The beginning part of the series it was pretty much just Jiro-acting-awkward, but the last two episodes he was able to display a nice array of emotions which he was lacking in the other parts of the series. And you can certainly see how much he's improved from his first dramas, but I must say that he still has a ways to go and more to learn (isn't there always ) but he's on his way there. I know! I was sooo happy that she finally ended up with Mi Qi Lin =3 If she had ended up with Leng Lie or if something had happened to her leaving both of them heartbroken, I would have been really sad =( Ha, I think whoever wrote the ending of Hana Kimi should never be allowed to write anything ever again >_> (Yeah, I'm still bitter about that...) Wanna know the best part? I was at a state park today where I saw a perpetual rainbow and I immediately thought of this drama and Jiro ^^ After oohing and ahhing over how pretty it was, that is ^^ |

You gotta see a perpetual rainbow?? Cool!! I actually wasn't aware they existed until I watched RL... >_<;; Aw, well he could stand to improve, sure, but his true interests lie in creating music and performing onstage. He's actually come right out and admitted that acting is not a passion of his...But WOW, he really did an awesome job in some of those scenes toward the end. Particularly the one where he's hiding behind the rainbow mural. Holy crap, I was crying!! The one huge plot hole and major kvetch I have with the series is the big question of WHY Genie suddenly stopped liking Danson after the accident...And why was she just so not into him, even after all they'd been though together?? I thought that question was not explored thoroughly enough. It could just be my western sensibilities getting in the way of my enjoying an idol drama again...Maybe there really was something that made sense in that whole mix of "I feel bad for hurting her/I resent him for pitying me" deal, but I did NOT pick up on it. Still worth a watch though...even if it's just for all the adorable Jiro moments. |

I entirely agree... Although you wanted her to choose Mi Qi Lin, you had no idea why she kind of completely ignored Leng Lie. Although I mainly allowed it, because throughout the entire series she was straying further and further from Lie and closer to Mi Qi Lin, the prospect of her possibly losing her life/eyesight making that decision all the more clear to her at the end of the series. Or maybe I'm just coming up with excuses that aren't there ^^; Haha, and you can certainly tell that his passions lie with music. He seems so out-of-place in the dramas, like they're just forcing him because he looks pretty (xP) (Not that I'm complaining, buuut.. ^^;) Well, the rainbow was perpetual as long as the sun was somewhat-out, but I think that's close enough xP When the clouds covered the sun you could only see if very faintly, but it was still there. |

this drama was soo good!! I felt so sorry for Danson because he loved her so much!! I loved Jiro in the crying scenes, he improved so much!! I was crying so hard when he was hiding behind the painting talking to Genie on the phone!! Genie was so lucky...she got to kiss both guys and both of them proposed to her!! XDD |
